I would take him, but I think the price will be too high.

We can't afford a former & aged wide receiver who hasn't played in 2 years and two 'B' players like Jericho Cotchery and aged tight-ends to fill a backup position. What makes you think we can afford Asante Samuel?

Lets develop our young wide outs that are making coaches notice at camp.

I beleive Samuel has a cap number of close to 8-10 mil . Bringin him here means we would likely lose Timmons or Troy or both after this season. Not worth it in my opinion.

Hey, I was going to suggest we pick up Revis. It's about as
plausible. :sofunny:

The question was "Do we want him?" Of course we do but where do you make cap room for him? Cut Aaron Smith? Cut William Gay? Who else???

The eagles will laugh at us if we offer mcfadden and gay for him

not necessarily the already have 2 good corners
so they would only be getting a buck up
and they would ask for a fist or second round pick
that's how they do business
but we're not getting him i'm sure of that

They have no depth at MLB. Figure we would have to give up something for samuel. Dont like that all!
