In the days up to the Steelers/Ratbird game, I wanted to share with everyone my five favorite Steeler/Raven games of all time.

#5 is a blast from the past...October 5th, 1997. I remember this was a huge comeback and I was so stoked about this game. I was a young-un but I remember it fondly.

#4 to come tomorrow.

I would say that last years 2nd half comeback in the playoffs is right there as is Troys pic six to win the afc title game in '08. Honourable mention to the 35 first half points we put on em aswell.

Nov. 5, 2007. The Steelers thumped the Ravens on MNF, but more importantly, it was the game when James Harrison came into his own. Every play in D seemed to be made by him. He finished with 3.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and an interception, not to mention a hit on Ed Reed that I could feel in Indiana.

Best moment was the first time the Steelers beat the Ravens, then the second time the Steelers won was little better. Seems the moments get better after each Steelers win because the TV cameras zoom on Ray Lewis. and I get to see his pouty in a close up. I just enjoy the hell out of it.

Tonio's catch at the goal line.

1) Last years playoff comeback
2) The 2008 AFC championship: Troy's pick six
3) Troy stripping the ball from Flacco in the 2nd game last year
4) The 2007 game that we demolished them in
5) The 2008 AFC championship: Willis McGahee getting knocked the f#@% out!!!!

Hillarious! That was the monday night game that I have at #4. I forgot about that hit until I watched the video and saw Reed barely able to walk. Hit him like a damn missle! Needed Willie Jones from Friday to come out, stand over him, and say: "Young man, young man, you just got knocked the f#$! out!!!

I agree with you Boss - that was an awesome game to watch. I think Ed Reed still is stinging from that hit.

I love how Hines Ward calls for the medics already while the play is still going on! :tt02:

Man you could write a book there are so many great moments where they think they have victory and we beat them at the end.

The single best moment though is the AFC Championship game victory. That will haunt them all their lives if they never get to the super bowl. I could see several of them on their deathbed, with family nearby waiting on their last words but instead only hear one word said with regret, - "Pittsburgh"

It was also sweet to see TJ Houshmandzadeh's drop in the playoffs last year.

ultimately I'd have to go with the game where Ben had 5 TD passes in the first half, which, while extremely impressive in and of itself, was actually second fiddle to James Harrison's defensive performance with all those sacks, forced fumbles, and INT.

Last season's come from behind win in the playoffs and the '08 AFCG are elevated due mostly to the fact they were playoff games, otherwise they're just about average for the typical Steelers vs. Ravens games we've come to expect year in and year out.

Man that playoff game last year was insane. We lost our two challenges early on and the Ravens had a huge lead. I enjoyed watching that game. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. 2008 though was very special. When you beat a team three times especially a hated rival like that and to get to the Super Bowl to boot you know you have them by the horns. Honestly, I love how jealous their fans are of us and how it makes them hate everything Pittsburgh. I see it all the time since I know a lot of Baltimore people and a friend of mine is a Ravens fan so I get to see him badmouthing Flacco after they fail.

The curse of the Terrible Towel continues! What a tool, glad the curse isn't lifted upon him.:tt04::tt04:

Too many to name for Steelers/Ravens. I was at both the 2008 AFC Championship game AND last seasons Divisional Comeback, both equally sacfred to my heart.

However, when Troy picked that ball off against Flacco in '08, Heinz Field went absolutely nuts. IN fact, I went so crazy I must of blacked out, lmao. All I saw was Troy jump and twist and then mass chaos.

Antonio Browns catch last season was LOUD as well. The whole place when into a sigh of relief meets frenzy.

this may make me a bad person, but when Ryan Clark blew up Willis McGahee is my very favorite Steeler/Raven moment.
