I, for one, am excited about the possibility of seeing Gilbert. I beleive he will be a fixture at tackle for us for the next few years. There will be growing pains but by the end of the season he will be a good player.

although i just wanted jonathan scott out of there asap, this is true. RT would be a better spot for the rookie to gain experience

i expect some growing pains from the kid, but hopefully he will be good by season's end!

Colon will be the starting RT next year, and Gilbert will be the starting LT next year. The silver lining here is that Gilbert gets to get his feet wet in the less demanding position. Does this make the team better in 2011? No, but it may be better for the team in the long run.

Have we put Colon on IR yet? If so, who do we sign to replace him? Bring back Adams, or Max...or you think they would bring the rookie OL off the practice squad up...I hope one of the vets...nothing against the rookie I can't think of his name....but if we're signing him for depth, almost feels like giving up.
