Ha, yeah they won their big game last week and it seems that they forgot that there other teams not named the Steelers on their schedule. That's what happens when you act like a jealous ex. Right back to square one as far as records go and i hope that the Rams can put a beating on them next week.

while its certainly awesome, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves here

1. if we are allowed a bad game, certainly so are they

2. while we're both 1-1, they are 1-0 in the division and 1-0 against us, so we're still effectively a game behind them

The good news is that they lost to an AFC opponent so that's at least better than losing to an NFC opponent as far as tie break scenarios are concerned

All true, the thing is we've been hearing all week about how there was a changing of the guard last week. When in fact it seems that the Ravens are far from the kings of the division they thought they were with their win last week.

the titans are not a bad team, but i do think the ravens overlooked them. they ravens should have beaten them if they were ready to play

Don Banks on SI.com nails it

It's pretty clear that the Titans wanted it more, and Baltimore looked as if it never remotely reproduced the intensity level that was present last week against the Steelers.

There's no ducking it. The Ravens had months worth of motivation to get ready to play Pittsburgh. But John Harbaugh's team reverted to its inconsistent ways against the Titans, allowing Tennessee to score 16 of the game's final 19 points and break a 10-10 halftime tie.

Yeah, the changing of the guard talk certainly is annoying, but I always ignore that ridiculousness, there's no changing of the guard until a team makes it further in the playoffs than we do, and arguably two seasons in a row (just look at 2009 where we missed the playoffs, Bengals won the division, and Ravens trounced the Pats as a wild card, but then next season proceded to win the division and boot the Ravens out of the playoffs, as per usual :flap:)

If anything I welcomed that talk, I always prefer flying under the radar.

Heh to be fair the Jim Harbaugh is an idiot is talking about the brother of hte Ravens coach. I'm not surprised they're freaking out. I think a lot of their fans thought that once they had us beat that it was smooth sailing from there. As I've said, I think their coaches, players, fans, and FO are so obsessed with beating us that they lose perspective. They're a good, above average team even but they have a huge inferiority complex too.

You guys are the only ones putting out this "Super Bowl" thing. It was 1 game. Period. It was an old fashioned beat down of the Steelers, and it was awesome.... But it was 1 game. If you all had done it, you would be excited and thumping your chest too. Just like you've done the past couple years.

So far, you've played 1 horrible game and 1 great game... just like us. So as the record shows, we're both 1 and 1.

See you in Pittsburgh....

Correct, but I'm not the one who said this:

Listening to Ravens fans and the so-called experts after that one game, you'd think it was a lot MORE than just one game.

Regular season victories for teams with a history of success are big deals for the fans only if they occur when your team beats someone that has been its nemesis (e.g. - Steelers beating up New England would be a big deal - Baltimore not so much)

Steelers fans tend to place greater emphasis on the games after New Years Day - with the history of the Steelers that is to be expected

But I know that last Sunday was a big deal for a fan base that has not had much to cheer about since 2000:drink:

Too bad the Ravens coaching staff could not get the players focused on the fact it is a 16 game and not 1 game regular season schedule
