Pittsburgh Steelers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) running back Rashard Mendenhall (http://www.nfl.com/players/rashardmendenhall/profile?id=MEN393702) left Sunday's game against the Houston Texans (http://www.nfl.com/teams/houstontexans/profile?team=HOU) with a hamstring injury, but it doesn't appear serious, a league source said on Monday.

The Steelers will see how much Mendenhall can do during practice, and he could be back as soon as this weekend for Pittsburgh's home game against the Tennessee Titans (http://www.nfl.com/teams/tennesseetitans/profile?team=TEN).

Mendenhall carried nine times for 25 yards and scored the Steelers' only touchdown in the 17-10 loss to the Texans (http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2011100202/2011/REG4/steelers@texans#menu=highlights&tab=recap). He's gotten off to a slow start, with just 173 rushing yards (3.0 per carry) and two touchdowns.

Well with MeMo banged up looks like Dwyer will be activated too.. So I hope to mainly see Redam and a little Dwyer but no it will be Mendy until his injury gets way worse and then a little Redman

Crap!!!! Tomlin needs to do e right thing and bench Mendenhall in favor of Redman. If he doesn't, then I seriously question his ability to judge talent and put in the right player. Mendenhall is average at best. He falls down as soon as he gets hit. He can't get the tough yards that we need. Redman is everything Mendenhall is not
