YES

we don't know enough, we only know the basics about his injuries, I say he is back but it will take him a while to get back in his groove. He may miss a few games.

He broke his Jaw, therefore it is most likely wired shut right now, if he is eating through a tube, he is going to lose weight, and they will affect his playing skills.

I am happy with Charlie for now, Ben will play eventually.

I said Yes however I would like to know just how bad he is and I want him to be 100% before he thinks about coming back...

I'm going to go with "no". IMO, he will miss a few games.

He will be back for 2006, but I don't think it will be for game one. To fully heal and be able to take a football shot to the chin after breaking your jaw will take him around 3 months. I think he'll miss at least one game next season.

He's a tough SOB! He'll be back with a chip on his shoulder just daring a DB to hit him! One of the reasons I love the guy!

During the season, yes. But I think he'll likely be out the first game or two.

I think yes, but I'm still praying for anything good and not worring about if he'll make the first game

Well, I've just edited out all that I WAS going to post for fear of sounding too negative. I'm really upset about all this because of personal experience with a closed head injury. I just want to see him play again, am happy he is alive.

I'm thinking yes. If not that week 1 superbowl winner game will completely suck. Joey Harrington vs Charlie Batch!? :dang:

I think Ben will be back. I think it may only take a month or 2 before we see him taking snaps and also we see him playing if not by last week of pre-season, by the time Miami gets Fried by the Steelers.

Not sure on this one. Though, I'd rather have him come back later than sooner. We will need him healthy for that stretch drive at the end of the season. Just like we did last year.

I think he'll miss some of the first games...depending on how things go. but I will be very very surprised if he's on the field for the season opener
