Eat. It. Bitches.

Game ball goes to Ben and Heath. Yes, they share it for me. Not a perfect game, but they made the right plays at the right times. That first quarter with Ben to Heath though was just golden.

Great job boys!!! :tt02: :tt02: :tt02:

Tomlin, Arians,Dick L, and Ben all deserve one.

The coaches for putting together a great game plan and Ben played his ass off.

The entire offense. Kept the Pats offense off the field.

Other than the dickhead from New England screwing up the game thread, it was lots of fun.

The Steelers must hold tons of shares of Jim Beam Inc and Budweiser, Inc. Maybe even Tums Inc.

Never a dull moment...

Well played game. It's just so beneficial to me to see Brady with his head down all game. Little worried about Woodley, but it didn't look bad. Let's beat the Ratbirds next week!!!

Offense: Ben and Heath
Defense: Woodley and Keenan Lewis

Honorable mention: Brett Keisel

Gosh it was a total team effort. Great win.

Oh, and Troy for having the brains to break a rule and punch a ball towards the endzone!!!!

Heath, Ben, thought Sanders had a great game - that was sweet. Took the Patriots playbook, schooled them on it then shoved it in their ass and sent them on their way.

The Good:

* Nice play calling by Arians, good execution by Ben and the receivers, particularly without the Hines Ward security blanket. Loved the use of Heath in the first half.
* Terrific defensive effort in getting pressure on Brady and forcing him into inaccurate throws while outside the pocket. The pressure wasn't the same when Woodley got hurt (hope it's not a bad injury), but the pocket regularly collapsed around Brady.
* Nice secondary play throughou the game.

The Bad:

* I detest listening to Phil Simms drone on and on. This has been written about before, but he can't help but put down the Steelers every opportunity he has. The classic today was when Nance was talking about the Young Money crew, and Simms had to say, "I call them Little Money" because of their height. Whatever.
* Shaun Suisham is absolutely going to cost the Steelers a game this year. Yes, I realize that he kicked 3 FGs today, yes I realize that Ben gave the Pats 7 points, and yes I realize the Steelers weren't great in the red zone today. But he needs to make those 45 yarders to take pressure off the defense in the last minutes of the game.

Overall, great game planning and effort by the team. :tt04:

:tt02:Great game guys, theres still some stuff we have to clean up if we play them in the playoffs, but I'll enjoy this one though

Wish I could enjoy it more but we got a monster of a game next week and we might be down both Woodley and Silverback

Hope we can keep the improvements rolling:tt02:

The defense played good but part of the reason they looked so good is the offense kept their offense off the field.

The secondary, and I'd like to hear from everyone who was guaranteeing that Gay was going to get owned by Brady. Who owned who?

This whole game was a pretty awesome team effort. Ben, Heath, Wallace, Brown and Sanders all played great on offense and the D stepped up when it had to, especially Woodley. Hopefully he'll be back next week. Can't pick just 1 person to get the game ball, really.

Keenan lewis also played a good game

Actually, maybe Heath does get it from me, but only for that one play where he tossed a Patriot defender like a ragdoll at the end of the play. Perfect capsule of the entire game.

Like I said, keep Brady uncomfortable and the rest takes care of itself.

My game ball goes to the pass coverage.
They played tough man coverage all game long and that took Brady's game away.

My game ball goes to Ben and Dick LeBeau. Ben was great and LeBeau playing man to man defense threw the Pats out of kilter

Hard to say who to give it to. Ben had 365 yards and 2 touchdowns, only bad play was the pick. Woodley got a lot of pressure and 2 sacks. Keisel never got there but caused pressure, and then did get there at the end. The entire secondary was great. D gameplan was great, Miller was great, and even Arians called a good game. Flip a coin.

How about giving it to Arians. He allowed Ben to do the no huddle for a change...

We beat-up on him so much. Maybe we give him one here.

Roethlisberger. he did a great job of distributing the ball and only had one bad play.
