what sucks is this guy has potential like you dont believe. I'm originally from the midwest I watched him play in several games while he played at michigan state but his attitude sucks. its to bad he could be a great wide reciever if he had "it"

Yeah I saw that. What a frickin cry baby. I guess trouble finds itself where ever it goes. Plax keeps reminding me why I haven't missed him.

at first i could not believe that we drafted him. i too live in the midwest and saw him a MSU. but i thought that if anyone could get him under control our orginization could. i thought i would miss him but when we got rid of him we finally won the AFC and SB XL. i do not miss him. i do agree, he has potential. but if we have not seen it by now, i do not think we will.

It was funny listening to his interviews.

Interesting note. When your drunk, you can actually understand what he's saying.

Sounds like the same old Plax to me. Whats sad I wanted the Steelers to draft Burress. I really thought he would be a dangerous and consistent weapon for us. Boy was I wrong. I also defended Plax until the loss to the Pats in the 2004 AFC title game. His comments after that game was the last straw for me. Plax saying he didn't get the ball enough and he probally wouldn't be back in Pittsburgh. You know what Plax if you would have caught the ones that were thrown to you. You would have gotten the ball more.

Also I remember reading last year that Plax, was happy he was finally going to be a number one reciever. He also said he felt that the Steelers coaches and Hines Ward held him back when he was with the Steelers. He also went on to say that Eli, had a better arm then Ben and threw a more catchable ball.

Plax, is just a punk and will never live up to his potential. If he had Hines Ward's heart and work ethic to go along with that talent. Plax could be one of the best in the NFL. Also on a final note with the way Eli, looked in that playoff game against the Panthers and all the drops Plax had last year. Eli, sure does throw a more catchable ball then Ben, huh?

The one thing about Plax that I will always remember is that stat that somebody posted up here about "Best/Worst hands in the NFL", and the fact that he was at the VERY BOTTOM OF THE LIST, dropping a full 10% of the passes thrown to him. If he caught that pass that bounced off his stone hands in the AFCCG last year, we might not have had our comeback momentum sapped and actually won that game, and we'd be celebrating our SIXTH SB championship right now...

F uck Plexico!

After that catch he made and got up and spiked the ball and nobody touched him, I was worried everytime they threw the ball to him!! He did make some excellent catches with the Steelers, and he does have talent. But he is a punk and I dont think he will ever change! I too am glad he is gone, the obvious outcome of this past year proved that the Steelers didn't need him!!

I wonder if the press asked Plax where he watched the game Feb. 5th? :sofunny:

Plaxico Burress, a ball-hog and self-centered glory hound, who values how many times he touches the ball more than he values winning games?

Say it ain't so!
