I missed the prediction for the Thursday night game between the Jets and the Tebows, but I was able to sneak out the rest of the predictions. Here they are. You can find more predictions and mock drafts at bossausdrafts.wordpress.com (http://bossausdrafts.wordpress.com). Looks like "Who Dey" nation's size is going to exponentially increase this weekend.
NFL Predictions: Week 11
Cumulative Record: (21-21)
I was absolutely atrocious in my picks last week, let’s see if I can get back on track this week.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Cleveland Browns- Winner: Browns
The Browns lost on a missed on a 22 yard field goal attempt to win at the end of the game against the Rams last week. I believe this game to be another low scoring one, but the Browns will find a way to win this one, even though they are still without Peyton Hillis.
Carolina Panthers at Detroit Lions- Winner: Lions
The Lions got thumped by the Bears last week. After their hot start, they are falling off. This is a must win, and the Lions defensive line could cause problems for Cam Newton.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Green Bay Packers- Winner: Packers
The Bucs have been a disappointment this season. I don’t expect that trend to change against the undefeated Packers.
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins- Winner: Bills
This game will be a close one. But the Bills are reeling after losing four of their last six. To keep the hopes of a playoff appearance alive, the Bills must win this game against their AFC East rivals who have won two straight.
Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings- Winner: Raiders
With the AFC West up for grabs to anyone in the conference, I believe the Raiders put themself ahead with a win at the Vikings. The Vikings looked awful against their loss to the Packers, and I don’t believe AP will be enough for the Vikes to stay in the game.
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins- Winner: Cowboys
Not much to say on this one. Cowboys win handedly.
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens- Winner: Bengals
Even in the loss to the Steelers, the Bengals looked impressive on defense, sacking Roethlisberger 5 times. Despite throwing 2 fourth quarter picks, Andy Dalton showed good composure. The Ravens inexplicably lost against the woebegone Seahawks. They also will be without Ray Lewis against the Bengals. Even without AJ Green, I believe the Bengals can pull out a win at the Ravens.
Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams- Winner: Seahawks
For the eight people that will be watching this on television, I predict Marshawn Lynch to rush for 100 and 2 touchdowns.
Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers- Winner: 49ers
I believe the Niners will win this one, but in a closer one than many will expect. Should be a good display of special teams between Ted Ginn Jr. and Patrick Peterson.
Tennessee Titans at Atlanta Falcons- Winner: Falcons
The Falcons lost in controversial fashion against the Saints last week at home. To remain in the playoff picture, the Falcons will come out motivated and handle the Titans at home.
San Diego Chargers at Chicago Bears- Winner: Bears
The work Matt Forte is doing behind a subpar offensive line makes him a serious contender for league MVP. I believe that the cold, harsh conditions at Soldier Field will not help an already struggling Phillip Rivers against this rejuvenated Bears defense.
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants- Winner: Giants
The Giants still looked good in their loss to the 49ers last week, and Eli Manning has continued to play at a high level. The Eagles lost at home to the struggling Cardinals. The Giants win this one and put the Eagles out of the playoff picture for good. (Did I mention Mike Vick and Jeremy Maclin aren’t playing as well?)
Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots- Winner: Patriots
The Chiefs have Tyler Palko starting at quarterback for them and the Patriots have a guy named Tom Brady. It’s also at Gillette Stadium. The Pats win easily.
