I found nothing in print yet but it has been on the news all day. ACLU sit up and take notice, please. See that they are treated fairly, like little children, the way we are expected to treat prisoners.

This has me scared to death b/c I'm not yet over how they treated captives before.

Unfortunately..........unlike the terrorists we have taken prisoner in this war, our boy's don't stand a chance of surviving while being taken prisoner from these pieces of useless trash. These animals will kill them without thinking twice. Amazing how the Gitmo incident is stressed around the world in the media for weeks on end, but killing (beheadings normally) POW's, innocent people and media type are talked about one day and then dropped.

That pisses me off so much :pissed: :banging: :pissed: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Most of the stuff we get accused of are things that aren't even worthy of headline news, we don't go around kidnapping people, chopping peoples heads off or burning bodies from bridges BUT like what you said 83-Steelers-43....The EVIL stuff and I mean EVIL shit that these ragheads are pulling is mind boggling and nobody cries out loud for that crap. I've said it before I'll say it again...Everyone that wants their country of Iraq back in their hands Go to another country for about a week or so. We'll turn that mother into a parking lot hell we're going to end up rebuilding it anyways. FUK EM!!!!!
ANYWAYS ENOUGH OF MY RANTING AND RAVING
HERES A LINK TO THE STORY.....http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060618/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_us_soldiers_missing

The sad and sorry truth of this is war is hell. I know if this was WWII we would see these men again but these guys are as good as dead. Sorry but I would guess the best we could do now is pray for their loved ones and pray that they go peaceful and not suffer in pain.

I hate to sound defeated but until we treat this as a real war and start destroying whole towns to drive fear into these people that hate the USA so much we will have to watch some sick freak hurt another US soldier on tv while as you all noted the ACLU defend the ones we have caught piss on the ACLU and piss on them that wish bad on the USA

Obviously a sad and frightening circumstance. I live close to the community that Matt Maupin is from. (He had been the only soldier that had been captured in Iraq up until this point). His parents had asked shortly after he was taken, for people to put a candle-light in their window as a remembrance and prayer for him. The candle is still in my window. Now it'll burn for all 3 of them. God bless and keep them and their families.

I'm waiting for a statement from the ACLU or from some of our congressmen who bitch and complain about our boys using a little sleep deprivation on these animals in order to get information..........yet to hear one nor do I expect to hear a statement from those one-sided blowhards. I'm also expecting very limited coverage by the media. We have to jump back on that Gitmo story ASAP.

For the record, it is being reported that they were tortured before they were murdered.

RIP PFC's Menchaca and Tucker. You are loved, missed but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of both soldiers. God Bless.

R.I.P. Kristian and Thomas. :crying01:

Now let's go down to Gitmo and torture + kill 2 of theirs.

No American captured soldier, ever lived. Can you get the picture, Democrats and ACLU?

May God bless and keep these men who so selflessly gave of their lives to keep all of us safe, and may their families be comforted by His love.

floodcitygirl - I'll burn a candle in my LR window to honor Pvc. Maupin and all of the brave servicemen and women who have died protecting us and our freedoms in the war on terror.

I know I don't sound like a good Christian here, but it's a good thing I am not the President. The itch on the nuke trigger finger would have long been gone. :pissed:

I understand your frustration but that's not how we should think IMO.

Well thank the good lord your not the president. No offense. You can't go around nuking people. You would have to think we would feel some effects if we do use our nuclear weapons. I'm sure that would effect our atmosphere.

That is how I think and every time a Congressman opens his/her mouth that we are mistreating prisoners, smack that Congressman in the mouth.

OK. How about we behead them or hang their burning bodies from bridges or drag their bodies through the streets and cheer? Better? The atmosphere could survive that, I think.

I was a bit over the top with my nuke idea but the bottom line is - even though there are a lot of decent Muslims, when all is said and done, they are loyal to their own no matter how much good the rest of the world has bestowed upon them.

It seems as though their eyes were gouged out and their bodies mutilated so that the only way to identify them is with tattoos and DNA.

Do you know that the left says nothing except for political purposes?

Their sites discuss whether we should execute captured dictators. WTF??????

Durban, congressman from Illinois said "Let that be a lesson for us." He is blaming Bush for going to war but no sympathy for the 2 soldiers.

What have you or anyone heard from Murtha and Kerry who say we torture and murder terrorists + women and children? When is someone going to openly smash both in the mouth? They are only friends of our enemy.

I never said that we shouldn't take revenge on the ones that kill our soldiers. Just saying you have to think about the full impact when using nuclear weapons.

I'm with the uncle of one of the slain soldiers. (Not the one that has taken the opportunity to blame the military and our President for a lack of a plan which caused his nephew's death), by the way, the family says he in no way represents them. I'm talking about the other uncle who said that he hopes that this tragedy will help to bring more resolve to our troops and government to "make them pay" for what they do. He said we shouldn't be worried about holding them in prisons and trying to get more info out of them, just "make 'em pay!"

It infuriates me that some seem to be more concerned with the rights of our enemy than they are the safety of our soldiers and ultimately our citizens. While we can not become the barbarians that they are, we also have to recognize that we are not fighting another country where the "rules of war" can apply. They are terrorists. They have no loyalty to a country. Just their wacked-out ideals. Their goal is to strike as much terror in our hearts as possible in hopes that we will back down. (Cut and run). Our destruction and their dominance is their ultimate goal and they are willing to do ANYTHING to acheive it. I pray our people and government has the resolve to stop them.
