In related news… this week Steelers Pro Bowl linebacker James Harrison was suspended for one game for making a hard hit on a QB, just in time to really show the public that Goodell and the NFL are trying to even the playing field so other teams (besides small-market Pittsburgh) can compete to win a Super Bowl.

Your city could be next, so make sure to tune in!

(And I'm sure the ratings for this coming MNF will be nice and fat too, thanks to all the over-the-top media coverage about Harrison.)

Maybe I need to lay off my conspiracy theories, but I did work in news media for a decade so I saw first hand how news agencies (and their corporate masters) operate. Like any business it’s only about making money; and a successful (or evil, depending on your viewpoint) business is always finding ways (1) make sure to keep the money they make and (2) find ways to make more money.

My boy JH is just a product of capitalistic entertainment.

(………..damn, I think I just need to lay off the Mountain Dew)

I would not call it dramtically a"conspiracy" anymore, since "unfortunately" they became facts/new RULES since way back in the 70's,...
