Ron Borges is a real favourite of Patriots fans and has been for quite while now.

Here is a nice little article detailing exactly what a waste of space this guy is.

Boston Globe football writer Ron Borges, the Broadsheet Bully, believes fans dislike him because he expresses unpopular positions and because he challenges the New England Patriots organization and its management at a time when the franchise is hugely successful and popular.

This is simply not true.

Football fans dislike Borges because he?s wrong about virtually everything, he lacks basic journalistic standards and he uses his forum with the Boston Globe to bully his subjects, especially those whom he personally dislikes, while currying the favor of his inside sources. In fact, there are many reasons why Borges is perhaps the most unpopular sports reporter in America. There are many reasons, in other words, why Borges should be fired.

i like his style. theyre being a little hard on him.

i didnt realize till the end, this article was from the playoff run. i found this quote amusing:

"In an era when New England has won three Super Bowls in four years and is two games away from playing for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl championship, you would think New England management would get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to personnel decisions. After all, its method is clearly working. New England currently stands on the cusp of NFL history."

so much for nfl history. i bet borges knows the REAL reason they lost. are there more rumors that the jedi master cant keep his light saber in its sheath?

Years ago Borges covered baseball at the Globe. When he decided to move on to something else I heard him explain his decision on a sports talk show. He said baseball had become too corrupt. When asked what sport he would cover next, he said boxing.

I think every major city has at least one of those types. I live close to Chicago. They have a few trust me.

In, Pittsburgh is Mark Madden a tool like this guy? Steelers fans that live around the "Burgh" could you tell me if that is true about Madden. I just remember hearing Madden on ESPN radio onetime and this was during the begining of the 2000 season and which the Steelers started 0-3. Madden went on to say that the Steelers were in trouble and wouldn't a good team again for a long time. Since they couldn't draft well anymore and had thugs like Joey Porter on the team.

Madden was blasting Porter for knocking current Steelers punter Chirs Gardocki a couple times to the ground during a Steelers/Browns game that year. I just remember the last time Gardocki got hit he got up and flipped the Steelers sideline the bird. That was great. I'll never forget that. I felt that Madden was an idiot for knocking Joey Porter for that. A punter is player like everyone else out there that can be subject to a hit.
