No Woodley today. But I still predict holding the Rams to 7 or less.

I got to see the Rams vs. Cincinnati last week and Clemens looked pretty good, and the Rams D was playing pretty aggressive.

I'd like to see the Steelers go a game without giving away turnovers, and we might hold them to that 7 or less.

Rick5895
12-24-2011, 11:20 AM
I think we put up 200 + yards rushing today. Batch shouldn't have to throw more that 18-20 times. That full help keep the Sheep to 7 or less.

There is no question starting Ben was the correct decision last week, especially with what was at stake. Ben wanted to play, and the team wanted him to as well. These next couple games aren't important, but they may start Ben against the Browns. We don't typically play well off rest.

Starting Ben last week, was a dumb thing to do, and a risky gamble on a potential season-ending injury. Our O-Line got beat-up just trying to protect him, and for absolutely nothing.
A "HEALTHY" Ben, is obviously more productive. -thats what I wanted.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion. Ben's our franchise quarterback, he wanted to play, Tomlin let him play. It's a borderline decision and I think Tomlin made the right one.

... ya, hence, why Ben could NOT play today,...
I don;t back every decision Tomlin makes just because he is the head coach, is it not possible he was actually wrong on that one ?
...respectfully.

theplatypus

Starting Ben last week, was a dumb thing to do, and a risky gamble on a potential season-ending injury. Our O-Line got beat-up just trying to protect him, and for absolutely nothing.
A "HEALTHY" Ben, is obviously more productive. -thats what I wanted.
Comon, end the story man plz !
enough is enough already.

BS

He gave us the best opportunity to win against a very good defense on the road with the #1 overall seed on the line. People keep complaining about risking a season ending injury in that game, but ignore the fact that the potential is there for that on every single snap of every single game.

I don't think there is an issue with Ben, but I think with both him and Arians combined, we say 'goodbye' to any semblance of a run game. With both of them there, we constantly go 4 or 5 wide way too much even when we don't need too.

Yeah, it's not a pretty game. But as Plat said, all that matters is that we stay healthy.

Also keep in mind that we're playing the 3rd string at center and left guard, 2nd string right tackle, and 2nd string qb.

The 49ers didn't do squat to us, we killed 5 possessions all by ourselves. Ben played stupid football against a very good d and it bit us in the ass.

Now all we need is to at least get into field goal range, but a touchdown looks prettier on the scoreboard ;)

Hey man, you said Charlie was turnover-free, and he's thrown a pick. We're only stating facts here. As for Ben, he threw 3. It's clear who's better right now.
