No word on whether Ryan Clark will be able to play against Denver next sunday or not. I know he has a rare cell disease that has something to do with the altitude in Denver and he wasnt able to play the game last time they played there. He is our leading tackler and a leader on D, but if he cant go then Ryan Mundy will have to step up and have a serviceable game for us

I don't think this is official, but my brother heard them say that Clark wasn't going to play in Denver either on the Sunday Night Countdown or during half-time of the NY v. DAL game. I know it's not official, but I wouldn't expect Clark to play in Denver.

I would be very surprised if he played, after all he almost died the last time.

i think mundy has finally arrived and is capable of stepping in for a game with very little drop off.

Clark himself said last week if they went to Denver he was cleared to play by dr's. If he doesnt it will be Tomlins decision to sit him out. After what happened last time he worked out in 2009 when the steelers went to denver and was fine, just sat because it was regular season and didnt mean that much! If its up yo him he will play, i just hope the Dr's are right and he will be ok. I would rather miss him for one game, than have him gone forever! :tt03: :tt03:

If Denver was some offensive powerhouse, then Clark's absence would hurt.
But since that's not the case, if he had to sit out a game, this would be the one where he could do so without killing the team.
