I think its about time for a big change, our defense is great, but mendenhall is not sufficient and he never has been, we have turned into a passing team and everyone being so uptight about bens ankle proves it, we have no dominant running backs, we need to make a change there, I dont know how, and I dont know who, but we need someone that can pick up more than 2 yards per carry. Right now I think moore and redman are better than mende anyways, draft a RB in round 1.

I think John Clay will surprise alot of people, also there is a guy who has been on IR this year, watch out for Baron Batch!!!!!

if Mendenhall had any friggin holes to run through, he'd be just fine. he's explosive and powerful.

This team is a pass first team. The philosophy would have to change which would mean changing the oc. Until that happens the run game is an afterthought.

I think he thinks about it a lot. I think he spends time devising ways to sabotage it. You can't accidentally design a play to put 3 linebackers in the hole. You don't put David Johnson on the roster if you aren't out to destroy the guy behind him.

No reason to draft a RB in round 1- too many other needs with sufficient running backs on our roster- but even Barry Sanders couldn't run if he didn't get the ball- time for new blood you're correct, but our coaching staff who calls the plays is the one needing replacement!

We need a whole new secondary minus Ike Taylor and Polamalu, and some offensive lineman too

yea need to keep Ike, lol

We need a new corner for Gay. and depth. We drafted 2 years of secondary, and everyone is hurt or cant play.

Oline is a must

I was happy before with Redman, and I'm fine with him now. Dont need mendenhal. Plus his contract should be coming up and he is going to want bucks, no way. to inconsistent.

Draft a RB in the 1st round? We have way to many other holes to fill!

How true. I know the Steeler way is to develop their own players. But, maybe it's time to cut some players ann free up some money and look harder at the free agent market.:helmet:
