Still trying to figure out what he is saying there. As have we developed a true standard?

Can players 3 deep on the depth chatrt play "the standard?"

Some guys no matter how hard they try will ultimately lack intelligence to talk in difficult situations, lol

Just remember that guys.

Tell me what is the "Standard"? Super Bowl Contenders last year first round "Bow Outs" the next year to a team the Chiefs and Bills smothered, what is the "Standard"???? :banging:

I would think that the "Standard" would be a Superbowl winner and a Superbowl loser since he had taken over. Average about 11-12 wins a year and MOST years advance deep into the playoffs. Just so happen this team did not live up to all of that.

Well now that Cowher's players are aging let's see what the standard bears.

The standard is settling for total imperfection. The standard is not upsetting Ben and to let him have a coordinator that gives him carte blanche to scuttle the offense.

problem is "the standard" just isn't that good right now.The standard is whatever keeps Tomlin in his job. It's not like he could keep a head coaching job on any other team.

just another one of his catchy sayings. wonder if he gets pissed in the locker room when we play a first half like that.

looking at the sideline no one gets fired up. does the team have a leader on it....someone like Ray Lewis who gets in people's face when needed?

I like Tomlin, actually, and i think most teams would love to have him.
But man, when you SUCK and need to make changes, say it. Stop with this "the standard" BS.
