I know that Ike had a bad game, but is anyone going to acknowledge that terrible game that James Harrison had. I know he got held and at this point in the NFL we can't complain about it anymore b/c we're simply not going to get that call. Much like we won't get defenseless receiver calls.

But he let Tebow break contain sooo many times and got no pressure on this kid , I just couldn't believe it.

He did have a terrible game.......i think the NFL league office constantly breathing down his neck is affecting his play, which is exactly what they wanted. He's not able to play his "brand" of hard-hitting football and thats what he's good at. Only thing he can do is work hard in the off-season to perfect a newer style of play more suited to the newer ridiculous softie rules.
I don't know what else he can do.

You really think he had a terrible game? Broke up a 21 yard pass, was held on one of Tebow's long bombs, and was flagged for a bullshit PI.

Well that's one play, what about the other 59?

And who on our defense had a good game? Woodley for picking up a fumble? I don't understand why you guys are criticizing Harrison for a bad game when millions viewers saw Ike Taylor get torched over and over again.

All I am saying is that Ike is NOT THE ONLY ONE that had a bad game. The Defense as a whole wasn't good and yes Ike is the easy scape goat but if you really look at the game. A lot of those big plays b/c Tebow had time to run around and find the open man.

Does the pass rush have anything to do with that?

Absolutely. Ike being torched is the consequence of 1) no pressure on Tebow and 2) no help whatsoever in the secondary.
Also, Ike wouldn't be chastised if our offense had been able to score more than 2 pathetic FGs in the 1st half.
Responsibility for the loss has to be shared by the entire team, including the coaching staff.

... if you're willing to over-look that one, small, insignificant thing... and that it happens on multiple plays, in each period, of every half, of every game...

yeah... he stunk the joint out

Harrison got caught being too aggressive on a few plays, but to say that he had a bad game? They lost as a team. I always hear that the Steelers more than any other team is like a family. I hope they aren't blaming each other for the loss. I hope they accept that they got beat as a team.

Tebow had the game of his career and the Steelers who were losing 20-6 were able to come back and tie by the end of regulation. At least the team didn't give up or start turning on each other.
