Free safety Ryan Clark will join four other Steelers in playing in the Pro Bowl on Sunday.
Clark, who led the Steelers with 100 tackles during the regular season, had been named a second alternate to the AFC team last month. He was added to the squad this morning as an injury replacement for Ravens safety Ed Reed.
Other Steelers that will take part in the all-star game in Hawaii include quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receivers Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown and outside linebacker James Harrison, who was added to the team Sunday as an injury replacement.
Center Maurkice Pouncey had made the AFC team as a starter, but he will not play after undergoing ankle surgery earlier this month.
Strong safety Troy Polamalu also will not play in the Pro Bowl because of injury considerations.
The Steelers will have multiple players in the Pro Bowl for an 11th consecutive season. The 7 p.m. game in Honolulu will be televised by NBC.
