Arians retires because the Steelers didn't offer him a new contract....now he has agreed to be the new Colts OC...

Good riddance.

Haha, I can just see it. "Ben, thanks for taking me on this trip with you, I appreciate it! Look at how beautiful those sunflowers are! Okay, welp, off to the pool I go. Oh yeah, by the way, I'm going to Indy! Anyway, have a good career, son!"

I wonder if this is why Peyton has been bummed out lately? He got rid of him once, only to see him return worse than ever!

Hope Luck has the arm strength to properly throw the bubble screen

Now that is a funny ass quote. The Colts don't run so it seems it works for him...and good. That way he doesn't screw our entire team up anymore. Bye, bye Arians.

If Peyton is still there Arians will look like a genius in Indy. I was hoping Arians would go somewhere else to really see if it was him or Ben. With Andrew Luck we may not get that chance.

Peyton is not going to be there - hopefully BA took the OC position thinking Peyton is coming back next season in Indy:chuckle:

wow. That was fast.

I hope Indianapolis enjoys 2 things. Bubble screens and that all the fans at home on their couches can call the plays (right along with announcers) before the ball even gets snapped.

Im not saying I would do it, and this is crazy for even mentioning but would anyone trade Ben and his contract to the Colts for Luck and his expected contract?
Just asking:popcorn:

if Manning does return the OC isn't really relevant there. They pretty much just send in a batch of plays and Peyton does what he wants at the line anyway.

If Peyton is still there no one will give credit to Arians (rightfully so). Everyone knows that it's Peyton who calls the play.

Maybe Arians will be a stubborn A** Hole and not allow Peyton call the plays since he rarely allowed Ben to go no-huddle.

Who do you think Steelers will sign as OC?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ! ! Just set the Colts back at least 10 years. I don't see Peyton coming back and Arians tyring to do what he does now with a rookie QB and a lousy defense that doesn't keep his lousy offense in games is a joke. Looks like Houston will be winning the division for quite some time.

It could work for Indy...they don't care if they run the ball anyway.

he should do fine as long as luck doesnt start this year. being the OC for a peyton manning led offense has to be the easiest job in the world. you can sit on the sidelines eating donuts and just let peyton call everything

he woulda saved his job if he let ben do that, after all, we only can seem to score when ben goes to the hurry up and calls his own plays

Good riddance to Arians. The Colts can have him. He'll be chomping at the bit to draw up some new WR Screens for Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, and company.
