and I am flying in. I need a hotel nearby (walking distance possibly) from where the action is at after the games. I know the airport is roughly 20 minutes away from heinz field. Where should I stay? Thanks.

There are a ton of places on Greentree Rd. The Radisson is the closest to downtown without being downtown but you can all chip in and take a cab where you wanna go. Plus, they have the best bar!

There is a new marriot near PNC Park that is within walking distance of Heinz Field. Also if you want to cross the river their is a Sheraton near the clipper fleat in Station Square.

Personally, I would stay at the Hilton. Walk across the river and your at the stadium and PNC Park. There are also cabs outside the Hilton on a regular basis. Your also in walking distance from Primanti Bros. in Market Square. Not even a five minute cab ride to the Strip District. You can technically walk to the Strip, but it's not a hop, skip and a jump.

Good suggestions all....

But I would definitely give yourself alot more than 20 minutes to get to the airport....

The Hilton is booked for the KC game. I tried to get in there :) We stayed there when we went to the parade and it is definitely the BEST place to stay, in my humble opinion!~

+1 I stayed there before the Ravens @ Steelers game. It's a really nice hotel, and not a far walk by any means to Heinz.

well, i would stay at the hilton,, do you know that is where the steelers stay before night before the game??? then, i would go to south side and go to the locker room.. that is where hines ward owns the bar. great place to eat too... hilton is very close to the game and you can walk ..... go to the strip.. very good place to get steelers stuff cheap..
