This was probably discussed somewhere here over the years but what do you currently think? Our new Offensive Coordinator should be in a booth upstairs or on the sidelines?

If he's his own man, sidelines.

I voted for the upstairs booth. You can have a better view and feel for what the defense is doing because you can basically see it better from the booth. May be a reason why Arians has consistantly lacked the ability to change his game plans during the game.

No....That was from arrogance and/or stupidity.

Arrogance vs. stupidity was a monumental struggle of epic proportions with Arians. There's no way to determine which one truly won that inner war, but all I know, is that WE all lost. :chuckle:

I would go with the OC's choice.

Whatever he's most comfortable with makes sense.

I for one couldn't see being in the booth, too removed from your players.

If I"m making an adjustment or call or whatever, I want to be able to look at my player in the eyes when talking to him.

i wonder where Haley will be. He typically is a sideline coach. I would want him in the booth so he does not cause any scenes with the players.

Hes a sideline guy... but i agree i think you can see it better from up top... however Its also very important to be hands on... you cant coach them up from up stairs... Todd comes from Bill Parcells... you can bet your ass he will be close enough to his guys to spit on their shoe if he needs to

I would think that being in a booth would allow you to blockout alot of things that's going on around you and concentrate alot better. Plus you have the birdseye view.

i chose option C. but i think the best is up in the booth so he can see the defense and make adjustments. but whatever floats the guy's boat, i guess.

A personality like Haley NEEDS to be on the sidelines.

Either is fine with me. As long as the OC is good, I don't care if he coaches at his bedroom.
