First off, I love the fact that you put the extra 7th Rd picks.
-I could definitely see us taking Glenn in the first. He is versatile and is a great overall blocker and could definitely help us immediately.
-Not too sure if Burfict will fall to the end of the 2nd. He has so much talent and potential and is arguably the second best ILB. We would have to trade up to get him. If he does fall to us though that would be amazing and a great steal.
-If we can also grab Potter in the 3rd that would be two steals in a row for us. Potter was a great LT at BSU and never let Kellen Moore touch the ground. He is a great pass blocker and an exceptional run blocker.
-Not sure if they will attack S in the 4th round with all the OL and DL talent left. Guy will most likely develop into a poor man's Mundy though. He does not have much upside and still has a lot of developing to do.
-I do not know anything on the NT from BYU, but I really feel that you could have mocked a NT in the 3rd and then have us taking a S or CB in the 5th.
-Blackwell is an above average OL IMO, LSU's offense wasn't great, but they had a really good run game and most part because of Blackwell's ability to pull. Another steal for us in this draft.
-With 3 7th Rd picks I really do feel that these will be depth picks that we can stash away on the PS. Still not sure that we will take a FB and a QB. A veteran FB would be so much better than a rookie FB and he would be just as cheap. There would be no point to take a QB this year with Haley running the offense. I could see us taking an OLB with the first 7th pick and a WR with the second 7th. With Saunders getting suspended I definitely see us taking a TE.

But overall great mock man, it was wacky and with Colbert as GM is could happen. I really want to see how the real draft goes with Haley as the new OC now too.

character issues or not Burfict won't slip past pick 40. Would be very happy with the Glenn and Potter picks although I don't see either of them being available where we pick in those rounds. Who do you like if Glenn is off the board? currently my first round hopes are one of Glenn,Adams,Barron,Hightower or Cox, and I hope they take a long look at Nick Perry

Thanks for the insight! I Would like for Burfict to fall but that's a pipe dream.. But if it didn't happen I would take Potter in the 2nd! I think Haley will bring in a true FB being he's had one everywhere else he's been. As for Blackwell, he was graded at one time a high draft choice if he left college early and I don't see the harm in taking him late in the draft! Low risk could be high reward.. We've done well with LSU llinemen!!!

Drafting a fb would benefit us greatly. Especially since we have there seventh round picks. We could get the best fb in the draft and he could be an immediate starter. The giants did it with hynoski so all the talk of needing a veteran fb isn't true. And hynoski was an undrafted free agent so we should draft one of the top fullbacks and plug him in and were set for years to come

Burfict will depend on the interviews as to whether the Steelers will consider him or not.

Glenn, I think is a OG, but need to see some more tape to see if he has decent knee bend and can get good pad level. Otherwise, he is strictly a RT and you can get those later on, like Mitchell Schwartz from Cal.

Potter is an elite pass blocker, but too light to withstand a good bull rush. The kid needs to put some sand in his pants and get a mean streak to be a physical run blocker. He might just turn out to be a more agile Sam Young from Notre dame. If we think he has the frame to add weight, then he should have over his 4 years at Boise St.

I like the prospects of Dontari Poe in the 1st, Kevin Zeitler in the 2nd and Mitchell Schwartz in the 3rd round. Then if Tank Carder checks out medically, I think we look at him in the 4th or 5th.
