View Full Version : Bradying: It's unfortunately sure to catch on

From the people who brought you Tebowing (folks with way too much time on their hands and nothing better to do), comes America's newest sports fad ...
Bradying (http://bradying.com/).

http://static.nfl.com/static/content/catch_all/nfl_image/t_brady_120207_IA.jpg This is now called Bradying. (Winslow Townson/Associated Press)
It's lame but still likely to engulf the country like a wild fire. All you've got to do is sit down, extend your legs, hunch your back, and look down.
Whereas Tebowing is a celebration of the thrill of victory, Bradying epitomizes the agony of defeat experienced by the Patriots' quarterback after losing Super Bowl XLVI (http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2012020500/2011/POST22/giants@patriots).
Which means, predictably, Giants and Jets fans will love it and do it all over The Big Apple.
This will go one of two ways for Brady: Either he'll look at it as piling on after losing his second straight Super Bowl game against the Giants quarterbacked by the lesser of two Mannings, which might make him a recluse this entire offseason; OR he'll have a sense of humor about it, realize he's already got three Super Bowl rings, is a lock for the Hall of Fame, and has a supermodel wife who supports and loves him dearly (even if she can get a little out of line).

Don't know about the rest of you, but I LOVE this. It's a trend that will forever be associated with Brady's moment of heartbreak pictured above. Don't know about the rest of you, but that's an amazing trend to popularize.

these "names" are getting ridiculous. Whats next? Someone takes a picture of Flacco (or whoever...insert name here) just standing there and it will be called Flacco'ing?
This has the potential to be one REALLY....really annoying trend.

As long as it's associated with the ridicule of Brady, I could give two-shits :chuckle:

Tebowing was sort of a given, but this is retarded, I must admit. I'm sure we've all sat like that at one point. However, it's Brady in his time of despair, and it's viral. i'm not upset about it at all. RIDICULE!

How would you define Flacco-ing? An average QB who pretends to be elite?

He's the greatest quarterback of all time on a team lead by the greatest coach of all team that just so happens to be operating way under salary cap.

Next year we're going to make you feel sorrow in the post season.

tom says he's feeling it and welker reminds him that he's open on EVERY play.

good thing you have all that salary cap. you can give chad that extension he deserves, bring in moss and owens, and sign haynesworth to that big money contract.

good thing you have those 4 picks in the first 2 rounds.

then again, havent the patriots had 4 picks in the first 2 rounds for 5 years now?

you guys need a receiver. how'd that brandon tate guy work out? didnt you trade him for ocho?

you do know right after the patriots selected him in the 3rd round the steelers took mike wallace with the next pick?

I'll listen to it after my Superbowl depression wears off.

As for Mike Wallace... no... I didn't know that at all...

We do need a wide receiver that's threatening deep. I'm thinking we'll probably get Brandon Lloyd. If we can force defenses to worry about the big play our TE's will be that more dangerous.

Brandon Lloyd and Robert Meachem will be our primary targets.
I assume we're going to keep Welker.

We need a corner badly. Beyond that just some youth on our D-line and I think we can go 19-0 next year. Of course, i've said that every year since 2007...
But I think next year is the year. I can feel it. Seriously, I can really feel it for next year. 19-0.

If they are operating way under the salary cap and keep hoarding draft picks there may be some personnel issues with the Pats

As for greatest coach of all time walk me through Belichick's record without Brady at QB

Even with Brady at QB Belichick's record in the Super Bowl is 3-2 - Noll won more Super Bowls, Walsh never lost one while winning 3, and the underrated Joe Gibbs was 3-0 with Joe Theissman, Doug Williams and Mark Rypien as his QBs.

After Sunday's latest playoff disappointment Belichick goes on a shelf below at least those three coaches and that guy who was 5-1 in championship games and for whom the Super Bowl trophy is named

I know grief often leads to irrational thoughts but get a grip:sofunny:

This^

And Dan was just being polite, cause realisticaly the "best coach ever" only won while cheating. As far as Brady being the best ever, his stats over the years have been great, but he is really starting to look like a "choke". Come to think of it, all of Bradys championships were during spygate too. Huh:noidea:
