Get back down to about 200. He looked sloppy and slow last year so dropping 20 and resting him from practices all season he may get some speed back. If he wants to come back he'll have to take a massive pay cut

Hines has never been a speed receiver, as he was missing an ACL in his left knee coming out of college. He's been without it since childhood. Hines Ward also weighs 208 pounds, just 3 pounds heavier off of last season. We're not factoring in his age in this either. Losing that much wait is easier said than done for a 35 year old man.

Hines hurt his ankle early in the season, and his productivity went down significantly for the season's second half. He's had surgery this off-season already, and i'm hoping that'll bring him up to speed. I'm also hoping he'll actually be in Pittsburgh.

there's no way he can do that, without losing a lot of muscle mass, he's already mostly muscle. if he dropped 20 lbs he'd be smaller than antonio brown. come on man lol

Ward not playing had more to do with Brown and Wallace then Ward. Brown was the first receiver in NFL history to have 1000 receiving and in returns. It was like having 2 studs on your team by using one. Sanders had a rough year, his knee bothered him but his mother dying was the reason he was out of focus the last half of the season.
