Well, if Nixon's and Lay's funerals are indication, we should all have the comfort of knowing that people will look back on our lives through rose colored glasses. I understand that the people who are given the unenviable task of euologizing a man so vilified are going to feel obligated to paint a cheerier picture than what was reality. But comparing Ken Lay's prosecution to the stations of the cross? That's offensive. Especially to the people who lost their retirement nest egg because of his self serving lies.

I find that offensive on so many levels! Too bad they didn't have a showing before they cremated him, there will be a hint of doubt of his passing. For me that is.

It gives you a little bit of an idea of the sense of entitlement that those people in real power have. They honestly don't think that they have to care about regular people; all that matters is how much they did for others like themselves. The rest of us, well, we're human tissue paper.
