Out of 100 mock drafts from different sites, this is what people think BEFORE the combine for pick # 24:

1st with 27 votes NT Dontari Poe
2nd tied with 17 votes G Cordy Glenn and LB Dont'a Hightower
3rd with 11 votes is T Mike Adams
4th with 6 votes is DE Devon Still
5th with 3 votes is LB Vontaze Burfict
6th with 2 votes are DT Brandon Thompson, G Kelechi Osemele, S Mark Barron, CB Janoris Jenkins, CB Chase Minnifield, CB Dre Kirkpatrick, DE Whitney Mercilus, and ILB Luke Kuechly
7th tied with 1 vote a piece are DE Fletcher Cox, CB Alfonzo Dennard, T Jonathan Martin, RB Doug Martin, CB Stephon Gilmore, DE/OLB Nick Perry, WR Alshon Jeffry amd C Peter Konz.

I ripped one of those sights this morning. They had us taking a second round tackle (oselmele) in the first, a third round d tackle in the second (not a nosegurd or a potential nose guard), a running back who won't be in the draft in the third, another 5' 10" WR in the fifth, and finished up with two throw away picks for CBs in the 6th and 7th.
What I've pretty much come up with, and just from looking at who you have up there it holds true, is that at least 1/3 of the people compiling their Mock Drafts would be better off watching Jersey Shore and not subjecting us to their expert analysis.

Hmmm... you've got me thinking about how to consolidate all of the mocks out there and present them here on SF as a sticky. Hail Redskins is a decent model, but maybe a little over the top. Something a bit more modest would be nice.

That's a great idea. I'll do some research on it.

I actually went to about 50 different sites and got mocks off all of them!

I'm having difficulty seeing a player as raw as Poe going to the Steelers, but then again, Timmons was much the same, I guess.

I havent seen any Memphis games, so really cant say that I have seen him. I heard Mayock say he is raw, but have a hard time figuring out how a guy can make 30 college starts and still be "raw".

combine will be interesting.

no doubt. especially on the defensive line , where the only thing you need to know is where to lineup and which gap to attack...

We will see at the combine how strong Poe is.

700lb squat, 500lb bench. I am not worried how strong he is, its whether he is a Steeler after the interviews are done.
