... are you feeling the new season coming. I am! I`m ready to. I`m hoping that training camp will have atleast one banner with "Home of SuperBowl Champs"

Who do you want to see most at camp.

Ben to see if his is over his injuries.

Holmes to see if he is the real deal, when not in jail.

Duce to see if he is healthy, cross your fingers, for once.

Or is there someone else?

In my opinion...the 2006 camp stories will be:

1. Ben...

2. Holmes...(if he stays out of prison and signs)

3. Ben....

4. Camp phenom Willie Reid.....

5. Ben...

2 weeks!!!....cmon....I need it!!!

All the above...and what Reid can do on returns....If Smith can push Clark at safety...If Colon is going to be as good as I have a very strong feeling he will... if Humes is a draft steal that everyone overlooked because of his injury...AND if the 2nd WR spot belongs to Wilson or will Holmes, Washington, or Morgan feel that they can take it from him

SO MANY GOOD THINGS TO WATCH FOR....I am starting to get the itch and need a fix!!!

Most interested in seeing how Ben performs, but after fearing he was a 1 year wonder due to his abysmal pre-season performance in 2005 my main interest is getting through pre-season with no major injuries.

As Peter King of SI has written, if I was commissioner I would cut back pre-season to 2 games - those games are nothing but a way to bleed the season ticket holders into putting $$$ in the owner's pockets.

Cannot wait for the Miami game September 7 (especially if the Sony HDTV model I am planning to buy for the primary purpose of watching sports is on the market by then).

I'm super pumped for camp...I'll be there every day but won't actually get to see the guys in action much except for the night practice at the high school. still, it beats the summer job I've been at all summer by leaps and bounds

Mel. Your in the mobile Steelers Hall of Fame Correct? If so we`ll look you up! My daughter makes me take her in there 3 or 4 times to beat the heat. While my wife is doing the womens training camp. I mean participating in the camp

Cleve, brother whats up? I'm so ready for the freakin season to start. I can't wait. I love training camp. It really sets the tone for the season. Plus I love reading about the camp suprises and to see if they can carry it over to the games during the season. We have had some nice suprises the past few years. But I really just want to see this team back on the field. But Ben I really can't wait to see. He is going to have a monster year.

most likely I'll be at the Steelers experience the whole time, although I'm still waiting to find that out. as far as the women's training camp goes...do they have that earlier in the day then the players' practice later? I'm confused b/c the women's camp is supposedly the first day training camp is open to the public

My watch list for training camp:
Ben Roethlisberger how he is doing after the accident
Duce Staley he needs to step up, be healthy, and not ride the bench anymore
Ryan Clark I've heard good things about him interested to see how he fits in
Santonio Holmes hopefully cleans up his act and shows he was worth our #1 pick
Willie Reid I really want to see how this guy does
Nate Washington I was impressed with what I saw last camp and preseason
Wide Receivers overall we got a lot of pretty good WR's coming into camp. Who makes the final roster?

I can't wait for the season to start! I've had enough of this southern Ohio heat and humidty, so I'm ready for football season and the cooler temps!

I'm anxious to see Ben, Ben, and more Ben and how his accident may have affected his play, although I'm quite sure he will be fine and will be an absolute terror on the field this season. I also am anxious to see how Ben and Santonio interact on the field. I'm going to be watching Santonio very closely. If he has a pissy attitude w/Ben, I'm gonna have to slap him upside the head...(lol). I'm also interested in seeing how Omar Jacobs is working through camp. It will also be interesting to see if Duce gets injured - AGAIN! Guh!

On the downside, I'm sure going to miss seeing Antwaan Randle El. He was one of my faves. I loved his razzle dazzle, but I'm sure Coach Cowher has more trick plays where that came from. Also, I'm sure all of us will feel a great void with our beloved Jerome Bettis no longer in camp. It will be a melancholy experience in that regard, I'm sure.

For those ladies participating in this year's women's training camp, I hope you have a great time! I participated last year and had a blast!

Yeah.. I cant wait to see Fast Willie is gonna do this year but there will be alot of competition this fall with the RB's. I would like to see Cedric Humes do good and I look forward to seeing what Willie Reid will do for our return games.
God Bless

I have doubted the running game and the steelers decision to pass on Deangelo Williams and Lendale white and draft Santonio Holmes. So my questions will be will the running game step it up and prove me wrong. Will holmes stand out as a wr or a jail bird. How does bens injury will effect his season. And how will bill cowher lead this team right after a super bowl win

I'm sure. I'm about a 45 minute drive away from Latrobe and the heat index here today was around 100 degrees and it was very humid. Yikes!

i wanna see what ben is like after he takes a couple of good hits. i was in laughlin this weekend, it was horrid. atleast 105 at midnight.
been 20+ years since i lived in tucson and i forgot how intense that heat is. i tried driving my car at 3 pm and literally burned myself on everything i touched.

this heat wave were in is kicking the whole nations ass. hopefully it cools down. if not the cardinals will be an infirmary unit.

Ahhhh..the tropics. On the river or there for the A/C'd casinos? Anything in between is dangerous. Well. So is the river and the casinos. Pick your poison.

I actually don't want to see Duce play much at all in the pre-season - just enough to warm the engine up. He knows the offense just fine. Why lose him on a cheap worthless game?

The guy I want to see play often is Chris Kemoeatu - nothing to lose and everything to gain from his bad ass approach to the game.

So excited! I am excited to see Ben, and Santonio...I have high hopes that he'll be able to prove that he's not trouble afterall...just a gut feeling since I have faith (and proof in my student that works for me), that not all OSU players are trouble. And Reid. Heck, I'm just pumped in general. Let's get this started!
