Visit the Steelers Fever homepage and you will notice the NFLFSA (National Football League Fan Site Alliance) navbar above the graphic header. The NFLFSA is committed to bringing together a group of independent NFL team fan sites and they chose us as their Steelers representative. The goal of the NFLFSA is to provide members with promotion of traffic and knowledge. I believe that being affiliated with the NFLFSA can only help this web site and the NFLFSA expand and become more popular. Let me know what you think!

Also, please be sure to check them out at www.NFLFSA.com (http://www.nflfsa.com/) for more information and if you're interested register with the forums.

I get excited seeing how we are growing as a site. Again, thaks M&M for doing some good decisions. As for the other teams fans who may be linking to our site now, the Blast Furnace welcomes you. Just kidding...maybe. No it will be good to get 30 other teams to agree that Cleveland needs help.

I love Steelers Fever... but I fear this NFLFSA is going to turn this whole site into one big Blast Furnace. I hope it remains about the Steelers and not about who can come up with the wittiest way to put each other down. Time will tell.

It'll definately help generate more traffic for us, and remember STeeler fans visit that site too, so Im sure we'll get our share of black n gold faithful finding their way to our home via nflfsa as time goes on.

As long as the bashing and carrying on is kept to the BF, we'll be ok...nothing like getting in some heated battles in debates w/ the enemy now and then :boxing: :D

I just checked the NFLFSA (http://nflfsa.com/index.php) site, as my own forum (http://cgi.tripod.com/dabearzfanforum/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl) is a new member.

I don't see Steelers Fever listed anywhere. Did you opt out? I know that the NFLFSA just underwent a reorganization back in October, perhaps Steelers Fever was inadvertantly omitted?

To my knowledge we didnt re-up our membership after the original site disbanded.. there is a new nfl fan site ring being created that is a possibility too.

I haven't seen any action on this forum concerning this lately. Any word on whether Steelers Fever is joining the FFN or re-joining the NFLFSA?

One thing I did notice was that the FFN insists on a site belonging only to their network.
From the FFN forum (http://www.footballfansnet.com/forums/index.php?showforum=4):
Your site may not be a member of any other Alliance or Network.

The NFLFSA has no such exclusionary requirement. As far as they're concerned you can belong to as many alliances, networks, associations, etc. The idea is to get your fan site out there where other fans can find it.

Also, the NFLFSA currently has 19 member sites (no Pittsburgh site right now). The FFN has only five sites in their network. If the idea is to help each other build up our fan sites and increase forum membership, I'd think that the NFLFSA offers much more exposure. And several of your members (Tha rock, tony hipchest) have posted here that they found Steelers Fever thru the NFLFSA. Isn't that the whole point?

At this point, straight from the admin, SF has no plans to join another alliance. Possibly in the future yes, but as of right now, no.
