the Browns franchise is starting to turn into a complete disaster (more than it already was...).

Clearly, they need serious help on offense. They need a strong RB to compliment their QB over there. Thats an immediate need. So what do they do first? Well, they lose Hillis and dip into the FA market and throw big money at an "iffy" defensive lineman.......all the while they had tried to "trade up" so they could draft a QB when the RB is really what they need. Only reason anyone is signing with them right now at this moment is a paycheck only.
The organization had a chance when the horrible Mangini was fired to start making the right moves and go upward....instead they are on a downward trend and appear to be a total disaster at this point. Its a sad situation there right now.

i think Holmgren is a baffoon of a GM.. he was already fired once in Seattle. he can coach, but not manage. Mangini actually had the team playing some decent football, with Brady Quinn of all people to boot. Holmgren came in and already has his mind made up that he was going to hire a different coach. let's be real here.. does anyone honestly believe Pat Shurmer is a better coach than Mangini? before they even made the coaching change, i don't know anyone who truly believed that.
