I was wondering who are the top 5 Steeler WR's of All Time in you, the Steeler experts opinions, here is how I would rate mine:

1. John Stallworth
2. Hines Ward
3. Lynn Swann
4. Yancey Thigpen
5. Louis Lipps

Now this is just how I would rank my top 5, not trying to stir up controversy, just looking to the Steeler Experts and see what your opinions are!

Only reason I didn't include Burress is he sold out for more money and eventually went to jail, Holmes, too much trouble for the Steelers and still is in New York with the Jets. Now I am not taking anything away from them, but they are sell outs, not faithful to the Orginization.

And Thigpen wasn't?

I'm looking at their stats during the time spent in the burgh. I ignored the personal and went strictly business.

And Thigpen wasn't?

Didn't the Orginization want to let Yancey go, after the SB? Yancey wanted to be a Steeler but the F.O. didn't want nothing to do with it?

I think if you factor in the quality of quarterbacks throwing to these guys, Louis Lipps is far and away the best of them. It's easy to be a great WR when you have Hall-of-Famers throwing to you.

i never saw Stallworth, Swann, and Lipps play. So I''d go with:

1. Ward
2. Thigpen
3. Charles Johnson
4. Holmes
5. Burress

1) Swann - the most gifted. Not even close...
2) Ward - the most complete. Ever. Anywhere...
3) Stallworth - Consistent and reliable.
(Big drop to 4)
4) Lipps - As mentioned, never had a QB worth a spit throwing to him.
5) Buress - You may hate him, but he was damn good when he was here.

Hines Ward -all the records, and tons of clutch catches. Longevity.
John Stallworth - tough one between him and Swann but played longer and thrown to more than Lynn.
Lynn Swann - graceful, leaping ability, and great hands made for a hall of fame career but also a short one.
Louis Lipps - Remember his rookie year and how exciting he was paired with Stallworth? Great punt returner.
Santonio Holmes - tough one but I'll give it to Holmes for that Super Bowl drive and big plays along the way.

lipps was one of my favorites ever, he would have been a superstar if he played for a good qb.

hell, he made brister look decent in 1989-1990

1. Hines Ward - as said, most complete WR to ever wear a uniform.
2. John Stallworth - even Swann said he was the best on the team!
3. Louis Lipps - minus the injuries and bad QBs he could have been #1
4. Lynn Swann - ballet reallt helped him look magical
5. Antonio Brown - story to be completed in 20__!!!
