That's ****ing goofy and just CAN'T be right. First 6 games of the season, and 5 of them we play on the damn road? That's messed up, no way. I bet their still moving things around. I expect a more tidying up with a better mix of home/away games in between. 5/6 games to start on the road is downright ridiculous.

I'm having trouble believing that any one team will have their home opener the past weekend of the first month. And also having one road game the first six weeks. But the link you gave did provide a whole lot of information. So we shall see.

....and we used to be a staple of Monday Night Football. No Monday nights??? (that would be assuming this is accurate, of course).

Also, Pittsburgh @ Dallas should be takin' FULL ADVANTAGE of. Possibly the 2 teams with the most history in different Conference's with the the deepest tradition and championship history. That needs to be a Sunday/Monday Night game.

Looks like a good line up for CBS anyway.....:chuckle:

The more and more I look at it, the more I think it's bullshit. Why have the Steelers @ Giants on a THURSDAY NIGHT only on NFLN? That game is a marquee matchup between two of the top 5 elite QB's in the league in Roethlisberger VS Manning, not to mention 2 Super Bowl rings vs 2 Super Bowl rings within the 2004 NFL Draft class. Why put that game on NFLN and bone so many fans in the process and risk losing major ratings?

Late in the year Thursday Night games are meant for middle of the road teams, like say, Jacksonville or Cleveland to have a "spot" against a premier team.

Yeah it looks fishy to me. But who knows.

as per ken laird, the nfl has said it is a false leak.

three road games to start and 5 of 6 on the road? that should be the tip off right there.

That was the tip off for me, but I figured I'd post just for news.

Already debunked by NFL officials. Good to see some excitement though, only if it was for 2 minutes.:helmet:

I hope this ain't true. I'm hoping the Philly game is earlier in the season than December. Baltimore again for the opener? This schedule is looking pretty tough. I cant wait!

No Monday nighter, a Dallas game NOT being aired on FOX? Give me a break... I'm having trouble buying this.

In addition to the Steelers supposedly playing five of their first six games on the road, this also has the Bears playing six of their first eight on the road. Complete bunk fabricated by someone with too much time on their hands.

Someone really doesn't like us if they made us play in back to back years in Baltimore on opening day. If it did happen it probably would be in Pittsburgh this year.

CBS won't get that game. NFC home games are FOX dibs first...and with Aikman in the booth that it will be a FOX game.

Highly doubt we open at Baltimore two years in a row.

Good call. That'll be a 4:15 feature then.

Complete BS.
No way the Steelers - Giants are a Thursday night NFL network game.

No way this is the schedule. Teams are allowed no more than 5 prime time games and the Steelers get 4 or 5 every year. They will have at least 4 coming off a playoff year. No way that schedule holds true.
