View Full Version : Drafting a kicker

Everyone knows we need a better kicker and Bullock is a favorite but when is it safe to draft him? I don't mind spending a 6th round pick on the best looking kicker out of college just to lock him up, but do we need to jump the gun that early to get him? How does everyone feel about Bullock and what pick would you be happy to use on him?

i like these 2
Greg Zuerlein , K , Missouri Western State ... he was like 6-6 on kicks 50yards + , hit a record 21 straight field goals ... i would rather him over Bullock

Shawn Powell , P, Flordia State .. averaged the most yards per punt but didn't punt enough last year ...and he's great at pinning inside the 20 and not having returns

Not sure but I think we can get a good kicker in the seventh. Remember Succup was Mr. Irrelevant and he's been a solid kicker for the Chiefs. I hope we get one. Kicker is a position that can be upgraded for us. Feel a little better about punter since Kapinos is all right but wouldn't mind if we drafted one in the seventh either. IT's good a thing we have 3 comp picks. I could see us using at least one of those picks on a kicker or a punter or maybe *fingers crossed* a fullback.
