Anyone know if tomorrows game will be televised outside of Pittsburgh? I REFUSE to pay $20 to the NFL to watch the Steelers play pre-season football, that is ridiculous. I need to watch our new guns...

I don't believe you'll be able to see it anywhere for free. Do you have NFL Network? I think they are replaying all of the week 1 preseason games over the course of the following week.

FYI, the next preseason game against the Colts will be televised nationally on NBC.

If you don't have Sirius radio, you can listen on WDVE's website I think.

The game will not be televised on anything other than KDKA in Pittsburgh, but I have stream links prepared to hand out an hour before game time. Please message me or a moderator when the time comes.

My brother (& pop) and I usually use it as an excuse to hit up a sports bar.  Mmm, nachos.

But, this year, I have another (unplanned) event to handle.  Ergo, I'm just going to DVR the game (it's on NFLN the following morning)... and watch it on Friday night.

thanks for the stream and replay info

switching to DirectTV today - totally psyched for Sunday Ticket. I'll probably just listen to WDVE online and DVR Friday's replay

I am really excited to see what Rainey can do. I think he can make up for Wallace's absence to an extent if he is as good as advertised. Think about what he can do as a threat-of-use alone?

I don't know where you live but preseason is a bit different when your team isn't televised. NFL network has it on lockdown. If I'm right I don't think any bars will be able to televise it since it won't be on the NFL ticket. If I'm wrong someone please correct me b/c I might be in the same boat, going to the bar.

It's shown locally on KDKA Pittsburgh, nationally through NFL.com's "Preseason Live" for only $20.00 and streams are being handed out here at Fever to those who qualify. Also, the following two websites carry radio broadcasts:

Maybe a bad use of wording.

When it comes to giving away game streams, we don't like to give them away to people who sign up just for the sole purpose of trying to get a stream link. In order to receive one, we recommend a post-count of at least 50, or sometimes we'll give them out for those with board seniority/forum contributions.

If you need one let me know, but seeing as you're in the burgh area, I think you'll be set. GO STEELERS! :drink:

It was the medium that was the downfall of the dinosaurs. They didn't hear about the incoming comet in time due to all of the static, Mac Davis songs, and commercials for K-Tel "Super Sounds of the 70s" 8-tracks. :sofunny:

You do realize $20 is for every game in the preseason. That means you can watch all 4 Steelers games for $20. $5 apiece. Or watch the Ratbirds, Clowns and Bungles and it is even less. I could wait until Friday for NFL Network but I have to get me some Steelers Fever live.

I got NFL Ticket for free this year by signing up for Directv for the first time. I am stoked that I don't have to spend $50 at the Steelers bar every week. I got tired of getting up 2 hours before game time just to get a seat in the Steelers bar. I like the cameraderie but can't afford the food and beer any more. I will see if it is worth shelling over the money for Prime Ticket next year.
