I would say MJD, but division rivals rarely trade. I would guess Dwayne Bowe. The Steelers wouldn't have a deep threat if they traded Wallace.

Yep, this is DEFIANTLY Wallace. I mean, forget all the off-season blabber about Wallace being our number one priority and doing everything we can to get him into camp. Forget about all those quotes and statements about Wallace NOT up for trade. And more importantly, screw our QB & the rest of our offense with their joy of Wallace returning.

Yep, lets ignore all that and trade Wallace within the Conference.:noidea:

Can't get confirmation but reliable source says player #Colts are pursuing is a cornerback.

If corner, then I'd say Asaunte Samuel since he seems to be slipping off the depth chart in Philly?

did you forget that art rooney II has yet to give bruce arians a retirement gift?

and nobody will give up a high draft pick and lots of money for ashanti (mis-spelled on purpose) samuel. if thats the case they woulda already done it when the titans, detroit and atl were persuing him.

The Ravens have a corner that just rejected a new contract. Perhaps they don't want to lose him for nothing.

JasonLaCanfora: Colts are not talking to Steelers about Mike Wallace, according to multiple sources. Could be pursuing an OL, however

Exhale.

Not sure about Miami's situation, but I know the Colts O-line is in question. Jake Long?

INDYwould have a high draft pick (top ten, if not top five).

Hmmm...

I love Wallace... but... getting a top-flight defensive player (OLB Barkevious Mingo, NT Star Lotulelei) might not be a bad swap.  Then, of course, PITT's own draft pick (#32) could be used on a safety or cornerback or something...

Hmmm...

The time to trade Wallace came and went months ago. The Steelers consider themselves a super bowl contender and are in "win now" mode. Getting draft picks makes no sense right now. They would have to get a player or multiple players in return that would help the team right now. Since player-for-player trades are very rare in the NFL, I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

Duh..... Tomlin loves Andrew luck and Arians loves Ben, there's the trade...... It's obvious.

Honestly I think it's mjd

high draft pick probably means 2nd or 3rd round. i highly doubt they'd trade away their top 10-15 pick for anyone out there available for trade.

Irsay has stock in Google.

He tweets about a trade rumor.  EVERY fan out there thinks it's their team.  EVERY fan Googles their team name and the words "Colts trade."  Then... no trade... and Irsay makes some extra cash (for hair gel).

[Note: This is entirely speculation... but, at the same time, Irsay does love to create these media whirlwinds.]

Fans make their own crazy speculations, talk shit about owners, etc, so why not totally feed the fire and fan the flames? I like Irsay just for that... free meth for the meth-heads!

shucks, as i would definitely want wallace back on the team, i wouldn't mind also trading him if we're getting a top 10 pick in the draft (i don't see indy being better than a 7-9 team this yera)

I don't think the Steelers would suffer a whole lot if Wallace was traded, most fans would like to see him return but the fact is the Steelers have never had a problem replacing Big play receivers.

Anyone else hear any awesome trade rumors about wallace?

I've stated before how I don't think this is the kind of move the Steelers would make. I also think the Steelers would be really turned-off by the fact that Irsay is sending cryptic tweets about a deal going down. He's acting like a 16-year old girl.

Irsay is acting and looking like an idiot with his recent tweets, although he has some stiff competition for this honor he may very well be the stupidest owner in the NFL right now.

Surely Jerry Jones and/or Dan Snyder won't allow themselves to be one-upped in that regard.

Colts get Vontae Davis from the Dolphins for a second-round pick in 2013. Would anyone really call that a "blockbuster" deal?
