Sources: RB Isaac Redman to start
September, 9, 2012
By ESPN.com staff | ESPN.com

The Pittsburgh Steelers will start Isaac Redman at running back Sunday night with Rashard Mendenhall still not fully recovered from a torn ACL suffered in January, sources told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Redman will start at Denver despite a nonsurgical hip injury revealed last month, about the time Mendenhall was activated from the physically unable to perform list.

A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter then that Mendenhall was not expected to be ready for the team's regular-season opener and possibly may not play in September.

Not a surprise Redman will start. Mendenhall and Batch have injuries so that leaves Redman. Let's see what he can do. Just hope he doesn't get hurt or we'll be in trouble.
