Troy is over 30 as is Clark and Clark is very slow and not great in coverage. Beyond those two we have no one. Mundy makes Clark look fast which is scary. Why this area has been so neglected is lost on me. Even if your starters are great to develop no depth in this type of aggressive defense is mind boggling. I like the potential of Robert Golden but he was an undrafted free agent.. Will Allen almost didn't make the team and even he is 30!

This upcoming draft is chock full of safeties... the year of the safety (akin to 1983 being the year of the QB).

There are about six that will go top 64:
Robert Lester, Eric Reid, TJ McDonald, Matt Elam... and a few others (that slip my mind right now).

The unfortunate thing is that as bad as our secondary has been, we've had more pressing needs. The way our brand new OLine folded with injury, don't be surprised if we burn another pick or two in 1-3 on more OL.
