Roethlisberger untouchable in new neon helmet

The Pittsburgh Steelers showed off a new look during practice Monday, with Ben Roethlisberger wearing a neon green cover atop his black helmet. He wasn't trying to establish a new style trend for NFL quarterbacks, but rather was looking to stay healthy.

I think the most important issue is why the helmet is labelled as 'neon green' when in fact neon glows a reddish colour in an electrical discharge.

Thats what bothered me most anyway...well that and how much Ben resembled King Of The Pea People.

I heard today that Ben is very superstitious so he took off his neon green beanie. Immediately thereafter, he threw a pass which Troy intercepted. The fans at camp went nuts cheering on Troy.
