i hope that madden this year will be fair to all teams including the steelers. not that it defines a player by how good his overall is on madden but i think willie parker deserves some respect along with jeff reed and ike taylor. for all who play you would know that these guys have been underrated on madden. forget willie right now becuase i know 06 was his first season and you cant make a rookie amazing, but for some reason jeff has been very unaccurate on madden. nothing extreme but not quite what it should be. and ike taylor on madden just isnt good at coverage, catching, speed, strength or anything that he is really good at. but here is the thing, willie parker was a 75 and probably will be a 88 or 90 but Larry johnson will be a 98 or 99 because of one good season. im not saying make willie better but give larry time.if u took time to read this u have to reply.:blah:

Willie will be much better (maybe as high as 92-93). I completely agree that Reed has been given the shaft, but you have to think a Superbowl team will get additional attention. I also agree that Ike Taylor should be better, at least in term of "jumping" and "catching."

Willie is not in the 90's in Madden 07...he will most likely be mid-high 80's. Here are the official top 10 runningback ratings:
Shaun Alexander-98
L.T.-97
Edgerrin James-96
Larry Johnson-95
Tiki Barber-95
Clinton Portis-94
Warrick Dunn-92
Rudi Johnson-92
Brian Westbrook-91
Lamont Jordan-90

Here are some of the other ratings: http://forums.steelersfever.com/showthread.php?t=8969

Why in the heck would you give him hire ratings in "catching" ... I like Ike, but his "catching" isn't on the top list of attributes that they should raise :)

ben is going to end up being in the low nineties and that my friends is being underrated. he should be high nineties but nnnnnooooo. being the youngest qb to win a superbowl doesnt matter i guess.

I'll take L.T. over Alexander ANY day.

OK....got Madden 07 last night for the xbox....

Still learning how to play...lol..Ive just been picking plays and letting them run...I beat Seattle 26-20 in an exhibition game....

Any advice??

I'm not a "gamer"...lol...but my daughter graciously allowed me to hook up her xbox to the big TV in the living room...and the game sound comes through the home theater...so its pretty cool...I'm sure she sees some benefit in this as well....LMAO

Anyhow....if anybody has any "tips"...I'm all ears....

It depends 203, are you struggling with a certain aspect of the game in particular?

I want to get one for our XBox. It will be my first time but I have heard so many good things about it. Our son wants one for his birthday, so it looks like I will be buying 2.

Call me crazy but this forum could use some moderating. How many Madden 07 threads do there need to be?
