The game between the Super Bowl champion New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday will be played despite transportation and power issues and growing concerns for weary and heartbroken residents displaced and devastated by Superstorm Sandy.
I think it is only fair that the Giants send the message that they are willing to sacrifice for the good of the region and forfeit the game

the game probably shoulda been moved to pittsburgh, and im sure goodell was inclined to do so, but he wasnt prepared for the bitch fit john harbaugh had in store for him. after all, johnny boy blamed hurricaine irene and having to play 17 straight weeks for the ravens losing the afcc game in 08.

Goodell will screw over a small market team in a heartbeat (as when he moved the Saints 2005 game to New York post-Katrina) but there is no way he is messing with New York
Shout out by Tom Coughlin to the Steelers for not griping about the situation
When the Steelers were unable to easily find other accommodations, they decided to stay home because they were reluctant to further disrupt other guests — many of them local residents displaced from their damaged homes — and hotel staff members who were already dealing with the storm’s aftermath. On Friday, Giants Coach Tom Coughlin called the Steelers’ decision noble.
“They wanted to do their part to help the folks, the people in our area,” Coughlin said.
