4-3 is not acceptable to me at all, We play the browns twice and bengles once, chalk those up as wins 3-0 im pretty sure we can beat the cowboys thatll set us at 10-3 (this is out of order by the way the three hardest games will be the up coming against baltimore twice and against the chargers, i say we take 1 of those games leaving us at 11-5

Depending on if we can beat baltimore at least once and dominate the browns and bengles, we could have a legit shot at winning the division.

I do not think we could win the SB with out Ben, We need him 100% for the play offs, we would be a dangerous team if he makes it back in time assumeing out estimations of the steelers going 10-6 or 11-5 are correct the playoffs looks like they are well with in reach whether it be wild card or bye week, if big bens back WATCH OUT!

I think the division is still to be had... and at worst, a wild card spot.

Not only will BB be back for the play-offs, but AB, Mendy, DD, and Troy, as well.

Hines Ward says Steelers won’t go very far without Roethlisberger

Posted by Mike Florio on November 13, 2012

The good news for the Steelers? As Peter King pointed out on Twitter, they’ve lost their four games against the Ravens when Ben Roethlisberger was injured or suspended by only three points three times and only six points the other time.

The bad news for the Steelers? One of the key players on the teams that faced the Ravens four times without Roethlisberger thinks the Steelers will be sunk without their star quarterback if he’s not available for the two games that are coming up against the Ravens in the next three weeks.

Asked by Pro Football Talk co-host Erik Kuselias how things will go against the Ravens in Roethlisberger’s absence, former Steelers receiver and NBC analyst Hines Ward said, “Not very well for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Going out there, they’ve got to have Ben on the field. One thing about him, to be able to extend plays; get outside the pocket, that’s when he’s at his best. When you lose that element of the game and put Byron in there, a guy who is less mobile, now everybody can just pin back their ears and go with the pass rush and the blitz and they change their dynamics of play calling. So other guys have to go out and still make plays for Byron.”

The bigger picture doesn’t look good, either. Asked how far the Steelers can go without Roethlisberger, Ward said, “Not very far, not very far at all. He is their whole team. He is the leader of their team, he makes the offense go and all the guys around him, he makes them better. If Ben’s not on the field its very hard for the Pittsburgh Steelers to go to where they want to go.”

That’s not very good news for the Steelers, who while only one game behind the Ravens are only a couple of losses removed from the scrum that will emerge for the No. 6 seed in the AFC.

^ all we need is byron to get us 11-5 or 10-6 and lock a wildcard. ben and troy will handle the rest when they're healthy

yup - always a fine line - if we don't take Ravens at least once - gonna be hard pressed to find a scenario where we host a playoff game

harrison or woodley could hit flacco so hard , he separates his penis from john harbaughs mouth.

I'm glad the Ravens keep throwing trash like flacco on the field he is probably the only reason the ravens have never won a super bowl

Sorry. As hard as it is to believe, that's an incorrect statement.

They won it TWICE last year. :sofunny:

No seriously though.

Update on Ben

Source: Big Ben likely out 3 weeks

Pittsburgh Steelers doctors are hopeful, though hardly optimistic, that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be able to return from his rib and shoulder injuries Dec. 2 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Steelers doctors believe Roethlisberger will miss three weeks, though the team has not abandoned hope that he may miss only two games and be able to return for the rematch against the Ravens.

Though Roethlisberger said the injury to his first rib on his right side threatened his aorta, a source said doctors believe the greater threat is to the surrounding arteries, vessels and soft tissue.

That would, get Ben back for San Diego

A 2012 poll on NFL.com rated the 2000 team as the second-greatest NFL team of the Super Bowl Era.[3]

They still are just that...second best. Always second and never first like our Steelers.

Funny though...after 12 years I would be embarrassed to wear that disgusting ring. It's been 12 years. It's just a grusome reminder of what they lack in talent to ever get again.

So any predictions for today's game? Who thinks Big Ben is going to pull a Houdini and mysteriously start the game?

Speaking of my klonopin, I have a prescription to the 1mg pills and I usually get green ones but this month I went to a different pharmacy and got these blue ones (like the ones in this pic) im not sure if its in my head or what but they dont seem to work as well as the ones i usually get.
