This is great news! We've had him on the roster for so long, and they keep promising him he's the future starter. It looks like his years on the bench won't be in vain.

im a big fan of chucki because he is an experienced player. even if he was a 5th round pick he has plenty experience to be our starter. just how i think philips will be, in about three to four seasons he will be a great backup ready to start also. i think the steelers like these late round lineman cause they're cheap and most can be great with practice that bill cowher is a huge fan of.

I'm glad to hear it...I hope Chukky gets his chance to start someday, he's been working hard for it and I'm sure he will continue to work hard to overcome this

I wont pretend to know anything about Chucki or how good a player he is.

Its just a great bonus that the guy gets to carry on playing a game he loves.

Great news! But I hope the coaches makes sure he doesn't come back before he's ready so makes a full recovery and eventually take over the starting spot.

Get well soon, Chucki! We need ya!
