holy batshit , i really wanted the steelers to draft that dude...
replaced by roller skates scott? he musta really been suckin...:jawdrop:

On the same day that guard Chilo Rachal returned to the team after briefly quitting (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000099007/article/chilo-rachal-reportedly-returns-to-chicago-bears), ESPNChicago.com's Michael C. Wright reported that right tackle Gabe Carimi (http://www.nfl.com/player/gabecarimi/2495132/profile) has been benched.
Carimi, a first-round draft pick last year, confirmed the decision Thursday (https://twitter.com/ESPNChiBears/status/271687546289913857). Jonathan Scott (http://www.nfl.com/player/jonathanscott/2495943/profile) is expected to replace Carimi at right tackle. Chris Spencer (http://www.nfl.com/player/chrisspencer/2506365/profile) will take over for Rachal, who made the journey from Milan to Minsk (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fAvq35PgFT4) and back to Chicago
All of the change cames just days after the San Francisco 49ers manhandled the Bears in San Francisco (http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2012111900/2012/REG11/bears@49ers).
It speaks volumes about the failure of the Bears (http://www.nfl.com/teams/chicagobears/profile?team=CHI)' organization to build an offensive line when it has to bench a first-round pick in his second season.

For all the crap the Steelers' o-line has taken in the past (most of it rightly so), the Bears arguably have had a worse o-line.
