Steelers depot has us just under 2 million under the cap, even with resent signing.
With some of our injuries and some player on the roster that don'i much.Could we sign players from other team practice squads to the active roste?.I know this is not the normal way teams operate but i can't find anything against it.
Player i like
Hebron Fangupa dt (Seattle) Ed Whitney s (sf)
Brandon Washington G (St.Louis) Cam Johnson DElLB(SF)
Andrew Datko T (green bay) Rickey Elmore de/lb (Clev)
Ryan Lee c/g (no)former practice squad player Sergo Kindle lb (ratbirds)
Jerry Franklin ilb (cowgirls) Anthony Allen s (jets)

Sign a couple of these guys to a two year deal no signing bonus. They would only cost a small portion of the contract (3 game checks this year)if the don't work out in offseason cut them at no cost
Players i would release to sign a couple ofhese guys
Leonard Pope,B.Johnson,al woods,Van Dyke,J.Malecki

Releasing Van Dyke for any of these guys is a mistake. They're on the practice squad for a reason - no other team thought they were good enough for their roster, including the team they're currently on. Van Dyke's upside and potential is much, much higher than all of these guys on your list.

Kindle no one will touch because of medical history! Fangupa I liked during the draft...
