Overall regular-season record: 20-17 (.541)/third seasonRegular-season record at Dallas: 20-17 (.541)/third seasonPlayoff Record/Years: n/a

Series History: Series began in 1960

Dallas 27, Pittsburgh 17 (Super Bowl XXX)
(postseason record not included in overall series record)
This will be only the fourth time these two teams have met in the regular season since 1997…the previous two matchups, both Steelers victories, were decided by seven points or less…with a win, Pittsburgh will have won three consecutive regular-season matchups in the series, which would tie their second-longest winning streak against
Dallas…including the regular season and postseason, Dallas and Pittsburgh have met 30 times and both hold 15 wins, making Sunday’s matchup a potential tiebreaker…Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin won his only regular-season game against the Cowboys, while Dallas’ Jason Garrett has yet to face the Steelers as a head coach…although the Steelers haven’t played the Cowboys in Dallas since 2004, this will not be the first time the team has played in the new Cowboys Stadium, which opened in 2009 – Super Bowl XLV between the Steelers and the Green Bay Packers took place at Cowboys Stadium on February 6, 2011…a Pittsburgh win would mark the first time the Steelers have won consecutive regular-season games in Dallas since they won there in the 1962 and 1963 seasons.

Well, ths is it. This is the game that defines the Steelers' season. A loss, and you can pretty much say they're done. It's vital the D start this game awake and ready to go - if they play the way the did last week, it will be a ugly game. As for Ben & Co., the key is the O-line protecting him and he not making any dumb mistakes. Penalties will be key. Keeping my fingers crossed- very nervous about this one.

Actually, as has been pointed out, we can lose this game and still make it. Winning the next two AFC games (particularly the Bungholes game) is definitive.

I was referring to the poor play - losing to Dallas woud be demoralizing. 2 straight losses would be brutal - especially having to hear Tomlin's stupid statements about "sucking it up", "coming to play", "this one's on me", etc.

If PIT, BAL and CIN all finish 9-7 - then PIT and BAL will make playoffs with BAL as division champs.

If BAL loses out and PIT wins out - then PIT and BAL will make playoff with PIT as division champs. It appears that CIN is out if they finish tied to BAL at 9-7

Today's game is for a shot at winning the division.

Also, because the refs know that all turnovers are reviewed, I think they are not calling these passes incomplete - they are afraid to make a mistake.

however, that generally means that the call on the field has the advantage in case there is not enough video evidence

long quick strike TD or long sustained drive for TD doesn't matter a TD is a TD

If you ever played defensive back - you would know that you leave a gap; try to make up that space when the ball is in the air and in general, it is ok to expect a pass rush at some point.

Don't be dumb and ask our CBs to play tight - you will see a WR run by them and either catch a long ball or get flagged for interference.

If you have problems with this - take it up with LeBeau

It might be a good idea to maybe mix the pass and run on this next possession.

Ben's passing is scaring me. The receivers can catch the balls and there is going to be a tipped ball get picked off.

Sanders can just run patterns to the sidelines. He should not go over the middle anymore. Even if he catches it, he wont catch it. Just a waste of a pass.
Brown must be getting double teamed because Dallas knows Antonio can actually catch the ball and hold on to it.

It's fucking stressful to see how poorly this team is coached. Week after week, season after season same old bad fundamental coaching under Mike Tomlin. This team really knows how to keep themselves in a nailbighter game no matter how terrible the opposing team is.

I do not care if we score on this possession, just move the ball out to mid field and eat some clock. Change field position.

Nice to see SOME players do something. Seems it's mostly the Vets doing all the work, minus Brown.

Thank God - or Harrison, for that matter. The D was getting clobbered on that drive. Hopefully this will wake them up. Victorian eeds to be take out of the game. He couldn't cover a jar if he was a lid.

hey there, that was one of those things.....what do you call them?....... yeah, a turnover that PIT got. Yeah, they do still exist.

I have seen plenty of the turnovers where PIT gives it up, but I didnt think the other kind were still around.

WOW we actually caused a fumble. Cannot believe it.:tt03::tt03:

Be nice to actually have receivers hold onto balls, and maybe make a catch on a less than perfect throw. BTW be nice to be able to pick up 2-3 yds on the ground when needed.

If this offense doesn't do anything on this drive the field position will start to change in Dallas' favor. What has happened to this Offense?

agreed but who else do we have to put in there? Is there anybody else who can play DB? Not being smart. I just dont know who we have that could do any better.

When our DBs are healthy, we still give up yards. The fact that we are on our 2nd and 3rd teamers is really scary.

I'll take Victorian over Curtis Brown, at least Victorian is somewhat within the radius of a receiver

Now, STOP THROWING TO WALLACE. Heath and Brown, heath and brown. PLEASE

Earlier in the year we were completing passes to 10-12 different receivers a game. Hard to just target two receivers without the defense keying on them.

I just wish our "O" would "wake up" and put up some effin' points.
I'm sick of relying on our "D" all day long.
