A friend of mine doesn't think Big Ben is one of the top 8 QBs in the league. He claims that he's lucky and anyone can QB the Steelers because they are so loaded. So, I was looking for as many stats as possible to send to him about Ben. Help me out.....I'm looking for anything and everything such as:

QB rating
Rookie Records
Steeler Records
ect

I am guessing this friend is not a Steeler fan. Just show him this...

Main Entry: jeal?ou?sy
Pronunciation: 'je-l&-sE
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural -sies
1 : a jealous disposition, attitude, or feeling
2 : zealous vigilance

98.1 passer rating rookie year
98.6 second year
9.1 or 9.8 yards per completion second to NONE in the nfl no one was even close.
AFC Champinship game as rookie
Superbowl as 2nd year player

If elite means 5,000yds your friend is retarded. noting like 4-5,000 yards 22tds and 30 picks

I too would have to go with passer rating for a rookie QB and last year along with his record... but truely... someone like that is pretty much just going to argue with anything you say, so i would just say SUPERBOWL RING and leave at that.

Stat wise, he may not be in the top 10 ... but stats dont win you a ring ( ask Manning and numerous other QB's in the league ).

great points...his response to the Superbowl ring is '22.3 QB rating'. His response to 27-4 is 'there are a lot of QBs that would have that record if they played for the Steelers'. Jealousy is it....but keep sending the stats so I can send this to him.

Gooooo Steees....

Just tell him about how we were 6-10 the season prior to his arrival and 27-4 since. tell him about how we actually have a .500 or below record in the games he hasn't played due to injury. The only QB's ben has lost to are Carson Palmer, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady (twice). That is pretty incredible.

"Stats that matter"

And here's the most conclusive proof of Ben's place among great QB's:

Send him these links. If he still questions Ben's place among the top QB's, I would seriously question his grip on reality.

Tell him that the color green definitely doesn't suit him. Stats don't mean jack shit when all is said and done, but a nice shiny Super Bowl ring in only his second year ain't peanuts.

You gotta love the haters. I think his record and the ring speak for themselves.

Let people like this guy hate Ben all they want. He'll just keep on winning championships.
