Figured I'd do this, anyone who wants to predict can do so. I'll make my picks, at least for the wildcard round:

Bengals over Texans
Packers over Vikings

As am I. You gonna take OUR spot, you're gonna make us of it.

Actually maybe a pissed off, revenge hunting, Ray Lewis returning Raven team is better to hurl up at Denver.

Go Houston!

I wish Hines Ward would body slam Costas' on live television.

Hope the Steelers are seeing how incompetent the team that beat them out for the playoffs is

I will be stunned if Denver does not play New England in 2 weeks

We'll see. Denver beat a lot of NFL bottom feeders. They had one of the easiest paths to the #1 seed I can remember. Their defense isn't used to lights that bright. They haven't been punched in the mouth in awhile (since they lost to the Patriots?).

They could go down in flames like the 2010 14-2 Patriots w/ its rookie and second year defense.

No way Denver would win at Foxboro but I bet they are favored at Mile High

Too bad Dalton was rooting for the Texans :chuckle:

I changed my mind at the half. Wanted to play Houston, want to send a revenge-driven Ray Lewis to Denver.

... skipping ahead a bit.

AFC -> Pats vs Broncos
NFC -> Packers vs Seahawks

SB -> Packers vs Pats
(flying nail-biter-tight-game, ..., similar to Pats vs Giants, and we all know what happened in those two SB's. mmm?)

:globe: SB Champeens -> Packers :globe:

Fairly lousy weekend of first round games

Maybe Packers-49ers and Seahawks-Falcons next weekend will be better. I know the Pats will drill Houston and assume Denver will be the end of the road for Ray-Ray

I think Packers-49ers will be a great game. I'm waiting to see how the Falcons do in the playoffs.

I can't see either Houston or Baltimore making it any farther.

I bet the Ravens go to Mile High and punch Denver right in the mouth.

And then proceed to lose by 10 - 14 points

Ravens are an abysmal road team on offense

anything so you don't have to play at Denver, right?

Seattle by 7 over Atl
SF/GB pick 'em. I really can't decide.
Denver by 10 over Balt
NE by 17 over Hou. I think NE could run up the score in the 4th.

The Pats / Texans game is going to be a joke. Brady made Watt look like a child. Pump fake, make the 'SWAT Team' jump, wait for them to go back down and then throw. It's not a hard concept and Brady exploited that defensive line and mediocre secondary. Pats by 20.

Denver is going to win this game - it's just a matter of how much they win by. My guess? Denver by 10.

Rodgers ain't losing to San Fran twice in a year, he's just too talented. The way his offensive line has been playing recently will give him time to throw against that bad secondary and exploit Carlos Rogers for the mediocre CB he really is. Packers by 14.

Atlanta isn't a playoff contender. 'Matty Ice' isn't a playoff quarterback and that defense won't be able to stop Wilson. It doesn't matter that they're home - they're still a team that has all the talent on one side of the ball. The fact that Clemons has an ACL injury is a little worrisome, but Seattle has talent on both sides of the ball and has the clear advantage here. The talking-heads will all take the Falcons because of the hype, but I'm not one to buy into that stuff. Seattle by 4.

I agree with these picks, the only game I'm waffling on is Falcons-Seahawks. Seattle is red hot, but Atlanta is home, healthy and rested and has something to prove.
