Argh. That should have been 7!!!

On the return... and then again, on that throw to Casey.

Still, good start.

It's just a matter of time before Tom gets in rhythm. Look at how Hernandez and Gronkowski are just getting separation ridiculously easily. As much as I love me some Heath Miller, I wish he was able to run these routes and get that separation. Granted, he's also 10 years older.

Also, Welker just made a ridiculous catch despite getting trucked by two guys. Wallace, take notes bud.

Worried about Gronk.

Apparently Gronk is 'physically compromised'. Uh oh, they only have the third best Tight End in the NFL to turn to behind him. Fuck me.

Yeah but it's not the same when they aren't on the field together. That's where the strength of them on the roster really shines.

Worried about Gronk.

It's simple: don't run up the score when you're up by 4 TDs against the freaking JETS, of all teams and MAYBE this doesn't happen.

BrandonCarr39
01-13-2013, 05:09 PM
No offense against your team, but why is it in recent years, top seeded bye teams have looked flat and made an early exit?

Wade Phillips got hammered when Dallas did just that in 2007. Well, "Camp Cupcake" isn't alone at doing so.

I'm actually rooting for the Pats now. I don't see the Texans beating the Ratbirds or 49ers, and those two losing are more important to me than Brady getting another ring. Least of 3 evils.

God, I hate every team left now except the Texans and Falcons, neither of which have what it takes to win the whole thing IMO.

I'm with you bruh.

Also, Ridley might be the most underrated Back in the NFL. He's just slippery and hard to tackle.

The Texans' secondary is bad. Straight up bad.

The Patriots finally look like a solid play off team now. Much more physical, much tighter defense. Much more 2004 on the defensive side of the ball while being 2011 on the offense.

I think that's one thing we're missing on the offensive side of the ball - another leader besides Roethlisberger. It's the little things like the heads up TO by Welker that we're missing now. It'd be nice for one of our younger guys to step up and take on that kind of role.

Foster is keeping the Texans in it because Schaub can't. It's pretty sad, really.

Schaub needs to go and they need some major offensive line upgrades. Defensively the loss of Dunta Robinso n really hurt them their secondary and LB corps is mediocre at best. They are terrible against the run when its a legit running attack.

Out of curiosity, why didn't they go for 2 there?

If they miss it they are down 19-38, currently they are down 20-38. That is 3 TDs any way you cut it.

If they make the 2 pt conversion they are down 2 TDs and a FG, so what do they have to lose?

I didn't think they looked that good at all - any team that gives up that number of points never looks good. Topped off with the bone-headed, disastrous Manning interception at the end.

I guess if you focus on 3 plays and ignore the rest of the 6 quarters and 35 pts they didn't look good. I was edge of my seat the whole game.

EDIT: Actually me and the rest of the housemates were standing through the entire second half, so I guess technically I was only edge of my seat for the first half.

Around half way through the first OT I had switched to hard liquor lol.

I don't think the game was as competitive as you think in a double over time game.
Broncos got so many breaks it isn't even funny. Two touchdowns on returns? That's like being spotted 14 points.

Ravens drove, worked for yards, scored, Broncos answer with returning back a kick.
Most teams would have crumbled after that sort of luck.

Bronco was lucky to be in one overtime, nevermind two

In the first half i felt there were 3 no-calls that shouldve been called vs. The patriots. Near thr end of the first half and the whole 2ndshift half, I thought the refs did a good job. Ultimately the Patriots dtermined the outcome.

My sentiments EXACTLY.

Coupled with Brady whining his *** off to the refs and the crowd at Foxborough booing. Must think those cheaters deserve another shot.

I'll be rooting for the Patriots, only because I love watching them lose super bowls, there is no way in hell I will ever root for Baltimore, EVER.
