They advertised they would get a live feed from KDKA on FSN Pittsburgh for last week's Cardinal / Steeler game. I had a high school baseball game playing on that channel instead. Luckily NFL Network was showing it live.

But this week, NFL Network does not show it live and weeks ago I had planned to watch all these games on FSN Pitt.

Anyone know why FSN didn't carry the game or was this only my viewing area with this problem?

If your out of market (outside of Pittsburgh) you won't get the pre-game stuff and the game itself. I'm in California and pretty much knew we wouldn't get the game but would have liked to see the pre-game....freaking money grubbers. By the way eventhough the steelers will play on Saturday the game won't be broadcast until Sunday on the NFL channel. Time is 5:00 EST.

They failed to mention on FSN that outside of Pittsburgh you won't get the game.

Doesn't this kind of make their carrying of the game meaningless? I mean if you can just watch KDKA when you live in Pittsburgh, why the need to feed it to only local cabel FSN?

This irks me, too. I'm in Columbus, and we knew it was on NFL Network, but we were kind of pumped to see the pre-game. I pay a nice chunk of change for Directv and Sunday Ticket AND the sports package to get my Steeler fix! It would be nice to see the games.

My husband said that if the game sells out Saturday that they might show it on FSN....does anyone know if this is true? I think he might be wrong. We found the feed out of Arizona, and they blocked it just like FSN Pittsburgh, and I thought that game was sold out, too.

Regardless, if we can't see it Saturday, we're going to attempt to not find out the score and watch the Sunday re-play. It's just not the same, though!

The Steelers/Vikings game will be played on Saturday but the NFL channel will not be carrying it live. It will be re-broadcast on Sunday 5:00 PM EST - 2:00 PST.
