Hey ! Keep Troy's name out of this !

----------------------

Steelers safety Troy Polamalu had no involvement in the bizarre fictitious girlfriend story involving Notre Dame star Manti Te'o, according to NFL fullback Reagan Maui'a.

There is something to be said for not being surrounded on all sides by water. I apologize to those on an island :chuckle:

I don't believe for one second that he got strung along for 3 years with an online relationship, he was in on it and I don't care.

well, if he was going after any job that required strategic planning, leadership, and business development skills and qualities - you can officially accept his resume and "keep it on file"

this is the NFL though - intelligence and critical thinking isn't required.

is he dragged into it just because he's samoan?

I foresee an extremely hilarious SNL skit waiting around for the actual truth behind all this

Who will play Troy?

Did Troy actually meet this "person" or did this all just take place at 1 of his many charity events?

However, THIS IS ONE HELLUVA STORY LOL:

2000 Spanish Paralympian Basketball Team. Athletes in the Intellectually Disabled division of the Paralympic Games must be shown to have an IQ of no higher than 70. The Spanish team, which won the gold medal, was not sufficiently tested. An undercover journalist later found that 10 of the 12 players were not developmentally disabled, and the team had to return the gold medals.

I think I read that the one ex-NFL player who says that the girl was real, mentioned that Polamalu was with him when they were doing samoan charity work. And from what I understood, this ex-player said that Polamalu met her at that time.

Not too sure though.

Makes you feel kinda like Gilligan. I had to spend 15 months on the rock called the Azores (LaJes) when in the Air Force, so I have a point of ref.

I had a few Gingers and Mary Anns though :wink02:

I guess it turns out that T'eo's girlfriend was just as invisible as his performance against Alabama.
