Who's that guy just seems to get no respect, no media attention, that guy who just comes to play every week but u never hear about him ?

I think its farrior or larry foote there bolth good players.
I would have to say Dan Kreider or Aaron Smith......

I'm going to have to go with Kreider as well.

one of the most underrated players on the team i think is Hartings , the guy plays on 2 knees that have had there share of tune-ups.and has been a key to our running game.

Kreider...he has a rather "thankless" job.The media sometimes writes about our o-line...however I never see anything about Kreider. He shows up and plows people to make holes for our backs...and the only people that know who he is are the true hardcore fans. The casual Steelers fan wouldn't have a clue who Dan Kreider is.

Kreider would be the obvious choice....He does alot with minimal accolades.

ya last time when we did this topic i said kreider. they have had segmeints about dan on espn and nfl network. but i have yet to see anything on jeff hartings.

I thopughtit was A.Smith until he finally got a trip to Hawaii. Jeff Reed, comes to mind also!

Jeff Reed really came into his own last season. He made kicks in Heinz Field on a regular basis that nobody in the league could make.
Definately A. Smith too..this guy is so strong and plays so well each week, but up until last season, nobody outside the Steeler family ever talked about him. Lebeau calls him one of the best DL in the league..Period!
Chidi is another special guy. He's a demon on special teams, and makes plays and tackles every snap he gets.

If we're looking at the national media and who they underrate as a Steeler, I'd say James Farrior. Ray Lewis has been a good linebacker during his career. But Farrior outplayed him by far last year.
Kreider would be my choice as far as Steeler media goes for the above mentioned reasons.
I think Randle El could be a distant second.

Deshea Townsend should get a vote as well for being under rated. He performs at a high level week in and week out.

Until last season I would have to say Chris Hoke. Who would have thought he would have been able to do what he did last year.
